Crowds really this good Oct 27-2?

We were in WDW 10/27- 11/4 last fall, and the longest line we waited in was 15 mins for Space Mtn at noon. We walked on to most every other thing in all 4 parks, including ToT and RnR at around 3pm on a Monday, Splash and BTMRR at 1pm on Halloween day, Soarin' at 10am on Monday, and E:E and Kilimanjaro safari at 11am on Thursday. Now, we did SEE longer wait times posted- mostly at the big headliners later in the day- but we didn't wait for them.

We only used FP twice, and it was more for time mgmt than because of long lines. We did all the "DIS common sense" things- got to parks at rope drop, etc, and we had a great week.

Yes, just over night on Oct 31 the Disney Magic team goes to work and I'll say 25% goes up over night.

We were there same time in 2007. I agree totally about FP usage. We got them in AK for the safari, but otherwise, they weren't needed. We were lucky enough to win the dream FP lanyards, and I think we used them for 1 ride during a full day at MK. We waited in line longer for character photos than any of the rides. Wish they made a FP for the photo line....
