Crowds next week: Dec 19-23?

We went last year during the second week of Dec, and crowds were really low. We weren't able to go this past week and were thinking of a last minute trip next week for 2 nights during the weekdays. We normally go to WDW when crowds are low. I've looked at the touring plans site for their predictions about crowd levels, but I want to know what everyone here thinks. Will it be really busy next week because Christmas is the next weekend? Will it be better to go earlier in the week? Will the resorts be busy too? Thanks for your help.

We went 11/29-12/10 and it was unusually crowded. I would suspect that next week will be very crowded, but it's a trip to WDW so if you can take the crowds I'd go for it!

I agree if you can take crowds anytime in Disney is a good time. I went the week of Christmas in 2003, it was crowded but we still had fun. Now New Years Eve was terrible.

Last year I was there Dec. 22 and it wasn't bad at all - even the CMs were surprised!!!

This year I was able to get a std. studio at BWV for Dec 20-22 when I called this past Wed - usually they are long gone. I'm taking it as this week will be the calm before the storm!!!

And yes, I'd go earlier in the week. I think once Thurs. rolls around, the crowds will start rolling in!!
