crowds must have dropped off

We were there the same time frame. It sure was cold, but we managed to swim though. The cold didn't bother us, although the perfect weather we had this February did make the trip better.

I spent that week in a fleece jacket with a windbreaker over top, a hat, gloves, wool socks and Hot Hands inside my gloves! I am very cold natured and have Raynaud's, so cold is tough for me. Luckily, I don't live in a cold climate. :)

The great part about that week was the crowds. Honestly, we barely needed FP+. It was great!

I'm guessing crowds might bump a little bit going into the weekend, but nothing like last weekend.

I am sitting at blizzard beach right now. It's beautiful hot and sunny and it's dead here. We walked right on every slide in the park in about an hour. Absolutely no lines. MLk weekend was busy but manageable. The last few days have been low crowds and the weather is fantastic. Very happy we chose this week to be here.

I checked my app last night around 8pm:
MK
PP-20mins
SDMT-20mins

EP
Soarin-10mins
Test Track - 30mins
FEA-55mins
...I looked up to watch for pigs flying

It dipped for maybe a day and then jumped kind of back up for mlk weekend.. this is nice.. it's like last spring although this size crowd didn't start until marchish and some weeks weren't this nice. I hope it remains but I know pro bowl will get in the way.

Did brazils economy recover? that was the glaring thing missing last spring.

On Tuesday this week- I saw about 6 huge tour groups early.
2 from Brazil by 9:30 up at BTMRR.
Then 2 taking Castle pics- one from Brazil and one from France!
Then another two by 10:30 around Buzz.

We're arriving on 2/12 - we'll be at the end of the cheer competition and before President's Day so I'm hoping that we'll be in a lower attendance week but regardless I'll be at Disney so I'll be happy!

noticing there was 6 different large groups is a pretty big amount of them. :( I was hoping for a repeat of last spring where it was a pleasure to be there almost every day.

You are living the dream!!!

Lots of your groups here this week... One followed us from universal to Disney today. Yesterday Epcot was pretty busy as test track was down all morning (35 minute wait for living with the land you guys)

We did bog early in mk today. Took 6.5 hours to do every ride in MK not too bad

I was surprised since it was also earlier in the day. They took over the BTMRR line. My kids had two rides quickly and once they entered the line- 2 large groups- I saw the wait time bump up. That's when we headed to Tomorrowland and saw more along the way! France was a surprise!

I was at MK today and saw two groups, but the groups themselves didn't seem as big as usual. Maybe two dozen at most. One appeared to be from SA and the other looked to be an athletic/cheer group, based on the shirts they were wearing. They didn't make any difference to my touring though. Standby waits posted at 25 minutes that actually turned out to be half that or less made for some great touring. I also found the food lines to be short at CS and I did a walk up lunch at the Plaza with a five minute wait. My bus to the park only had two passengers (including me) and the one back only five. It was a great day!

To be honest, the only place I saw a crowd was at the Raceway, which I wasn't interested in riding anyway. I think it's just such a slow loader it would have a crowd if five people were in the park.

out of curiosity i checked ticket master for probowl tickets; there are still blocks of at least 30 tickets together that are available for purchase. This is directly from TM, not from resellers. So the game is not nearly (and will likely not) sell out. we'll see, but i doubt the event will have much of an impact on WDW crowds
