Crowds - May 26th through Memorial Day?

I'm considering a trip to DLR arriving the evening of May 26th and staying through Memorial day - actually departing Memorial day.

This will be my family's first trip to DLR. I think with the two travel days we'll have four full days for the parks. Is this manageable and is DLR as busy as WDW for Memorial day weekend?

I can't compare parks, but the last 2 years we've started our trips on the Monday holiday. The crowds leading up to the holiday weekend have been packed, per reports. Everyone starts to go home by the holiday *day*, and the following week has been lovely the last 2 years. So...you're planning on a busier time, that's for sure, because everyone else has the same time off and the same extend-the-trip ideas.

We chose the days we did b/c DS's birthday is the 26th, so it just worked out well the last 2 years. This year, not so much!

Thanks for the feedback. My birthday is the 27th, so that's why I was contemplating these dates. Good to know about the week after the holiday. I have to little ones who are 4 & 7. They have the last three days of school the week after Memorial day. Hmmm...
