Crowds in December??

How bad do you think 12/24 thru 12/28 will be? That is when we will be there.

Everything that I have read and heard is that this is one of the busiest times to go, due to the holidays. And the rates are higher too. When I was planning my family's trip (12/8 thru 12/14, staying at POP), I found that the total package cost was almost $200-400 more if we went around the same time you mentioned.

I'm sure others have more detailed feedback.

In '03 we stayed at POR and had a few run-ins with Pop Warner kids in the foodcourt and the pools, but nothing bad.

In '04 we stayed at the Dolphin and didn't encounter any problems at the resort. The parks were a different story. I wasn't the only one who had problems that week, here's the thread :

Did you encounter problems mostly at the value/moderate resorts or were there problems with them inside the parks as well?

No, there are no problems with the cheerleaders inside the parks. I didn't even notice they were there. I wouldn't even worry about it. Early December is a fantastic time to go, the crowds are light and the Christmas decorations are up.
