Crowds During the Day on HHN

Hello!

I am just wondering if anyone can comment on the daytime crowds on the days when Halloween Horror Nights is being held? Our kids will be 7 and 9 so we will not be attending HHN but curious if the days of the event are insanely packed, less busy or about the same?

October 29th and 30th (I know probably the worst days other than Halloween). We were going to do Universal first then Disney but if it is going to be awful then we could swap it.

That will be a Friday and Saturday .... end period of hhn

Be prepared for crowds if you can not swap out your Disney dates

In our experience daytime crowds during HHN in September are not that bad. The latest we have been in October is the 15th-20th time frame and yes the Studios were noticeably more crowded on HHN nights.

We go in early September usually and the pre covid era was packed, the difference between the Disney and Universal events is that universal closes for an hour and Disney does not.
Also for HHN you are going from haunted house/maze to haunted house/maze pre 2018 we were able to do all houses with the fast pass, in 2019 Universal sold as many fast passes as they could and we struggled to do them all in two nights.
