Crowds DL and DCA for 2/12/2011

If your at the parks today would love some feedback on how the crowds are today. We are planning on going to DCA today in a few hours then maybe DL after. Please let me know thanks

I would assume that the crowds would be about the same as last Saturday because neither weekend has anything that would cause its crowd levels to be unusually low or high.

Last Saturday, the lines for the major rides (Space, Indy, Soarin, Toy Story) were around 45-60 min during the middle of the day. Some rides had longer lines such as Roger Rabbit or Nemo. A lot of rides had shorter lines such as Screamin, ToT, Pirates, Big Thunder, etc.

I would expect it to be busy in that area of the Park. Also, it is REALLY hot out today. That could keep it light early. However, with fireworks and F! only on weekends, I would expect the evening to get busier.

Either way, it's Disneyland! Have fun!

I'm heading up for a last-minute overnight trip with my hubby (us having the same days off literally only happens a few times a year) so while I expect it to be busy, I don't mind that much. If it's really bad (or good) I'll post!

My last trip was nice. I could walk around the park with no problems. The trip before that it was awful. I could barely get through the crowds. I also heard a few weeks later and before the same thing. It was even on the news. I'm hoping the crowds are like my last trip.
Dh wants to go to the movies downtown disney Then head to the park. Looks like we will get to the park around 4-5pm. Cant wait to try the taste pilot ribs

Made it to DCA today. We went to movies first then about 5-5:30 walked over to DCA. The crowds werent to bad.

we got there and ate and early dinner at Taste pilots
dh and I shared the 5 rib dinner and dd had the adult chicken nugget meal.
The ribs were good. Dh and I were happy and content but he said a meal woould be good for one person so he musta been hungry still-lol! DD12 was happy with her meal but i think she was still a lil hungry. Compared to Stage door cafe she got hooked up there with chicken nuggets. Taste piliot were cheap on fries and nuggets on both . We would eat there again though.

We didnt feel like doing rides. We love walking through electronia and seeing different types of people dancing. DD would die if her father and i walked through there dancing-lol!

Toy story mania was crazy long so we kept walking. We watched the electronica 3D, then walked into a few stores for pin trading. I traded 1, dd traded 2 and dh traded 3.


in the evening we checked out white water snacks and ordered beef nachos-yummy! We will go back there again


It was a nice night and cant wait to go to DL next
