Has anyone been two US or IOA in the last week or so? The crowds should still be relatively light I'm thinking, but I'm afraid with the possibility of spring break crowds. Any one have any information?

When are you going?

No, we don't have this down to a science, but do know that spring break for college kids is the middle two weeks of April, from the 7th - 21st.

The key is to arrive to the parks early, at 08:30am. I know the regulars get tired of me saying that, but what else can I say? That's they key to a good visit. You get walkon rides the first hour as the rest of the people are arriving.

I went up March 29-31 with the wife. IOA was packed that Saturday afternoon with wait times for the thrill rides at 1 hour.

Daughter went up next week with school and it was packed. And the thing is, when kids go with a school trip, they have no way to get an express pass, and they usually get there around 10am with the rest of the crowd. She only got on a few rides, and then walked around with her friends.

I'd have to say the crowds are back for the summer. The trick is to be there early at 08:30am. That will give you a lap of walkon rides. By 11am, everyone is there, but you will have done the major rides if you time it right.

Rob, did you go with any particular wife or yours? ;) You can tell it's almost vacation time--I'm getting very sassy! :)
