I am leaving tonight and was wondering if the crowds have died down from last week. I was counting on this being not too busy of a time to go, just medium crowds; hoping for -20 minute waits. Going to MK on Friday and Tuesday. Any thoughts?

We just came back Monday and Saturday at MK the crowds were horrendous, 65-75 min waits for Splash Mountain, 45 min waits for HM. We left around 2 and went back to the hotel for the rest of the day. Sunday we did Epcot and it was pretty crowded as well-65 min wait for TT by 11 am.

Monday we did just an hour at MGM, did RNR first thing and TOT twice, once with a 10 min wait for standby and then using our fastpass as soon as we got off the first time, we walked on, but the standby line was already 25 min by that time.

I think it's going to be lighter this week with spring break times winding down.

I'll take a stab at this one. We just finished unpacking from our trip. We arrived at CBR on Friday the 16th but did not go to any parks until Saturday. Saturday morning we got a "late" start and arrived at MK at about 9:00am. We entered the park and got right on the Train at the station. We got off at the Splash Mt stop. By 10:00 am we had ridden Splash MT, Big Thunder Mt Railroad, The Haunted Mansion, Small world and Dumbo and never used a Fast Pass.

We found the crowds very managable. We only Fast Passed Space MT and Buzz light year. The stand by time on both those rides were 35 minutes at the time but we didnt want to wait in the lines.

Heres a hint for AK. Get there for opening and take the Safari right away. The longer in the day it gets the further back into the shade the animals go. Oh yeah, We rode Kali river rapids three times in a row and never used a Fast Pass.

We found a Hidden Mickey in Dino land and I'm going to check the Hidden Mickey site to see if anybody else has found it. Its very clever.

Now, People are worried about Mission Space. Dont be. As for fit, I'm 6-1, 255lbs and I was fine. You really dont know your spinning and the ride is probably the best ride in the Park.

Rocking Roller coaster is a must. Very smooth and fast. We rode that three times in a row. My Daughter and I used two fast passes and stood in a 45 minute line for it.

Tower of Terror is killer!! They changed it so no two rides are alike..or so they say. Gotta do that one at least twice..we did it three times.

The biggest waits we had were for the Rockin coaster and Tower of Terror.

Had a blast and are now counting down until Thanksgiving o5 for the next visit..
Any other questions feel free to ask. I may be able to answer them while they are fresh in my 41 yo brain......

Hutch, reading your post I realized you were right-in the morning MK was very slow on Saturday. Our tour guide was talking about it with the guy "piloting" the jungle cruise boat, that they had expected much larger crowds that day. While we were eating lunch at Columbia Harbour House at noon we were watching the HM queue and the wait time was 10 min. Our tour ended at 2:15 and by that time was when the crowds were mobbed. We went over to Splash Mountain and fastpasses had a return time of between 6:30 and 7:30. We fought our way like salmon upstream to get to Buzz Lightyear and seeing the wait time on that we decided to head back to our room.

Like I said, we're sorta spoiled and don't wait more than 30 min for any ride.

DD and I were there. Got there at 8 am. By 10:55 we had done:
Breakfast at Crystal Palace
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Snow White
Peter Pan
Small World
Philharmagic
Spalsh Mountain
Met Timone & Rafiki and Suzy & Perla

and were sitting down waiting for Storytime with Belle which started at 11:10.

It was great. We were not walking fast or feeling rushed or anything. It was very nice.

Enjoy your trip!:D

Oh yeah, how could I forget the PhilharMagic. That was done also without a Fast pass..walked right in. Should not miss this attraction!
