Crowds 9/16 to 9/20?

Rosh Hashanah starts on 9/16 this year. Our school is closed since there is a large Jewish population in town. Does anyone have experience at WDW during this Jewish holiday? I know that crowds are generally low in September. Is there any significant increase? How will lines be?

Oh, yes...That's our favorite time of year to go. We've gone down that week (it's different every year) for 4 years. We live up in New York and I'm guessing you do, too, because the rest of the country does not celebrate Jewish holidays.
Anyway, it is The Best time to go! Last year when we went there was a b s o l u t e l y N O O N E at EPCOT. I have video of us just standing around and No One Else around!
The lines are minimal. Sometimes you have to wait five or ten minutes, like on Peter Pan, Snow White and Winnie The Pooh and Buzz Lightyear. But that is NOTHING compared with the lines during peak season.
Another reason we go down during that time of the year is because of the price.
I don't mind spending thousands on our family vacation, but it's not worth it if I can't ride all the rides as many times as I want, or I have to wait an hour to get on every ride.
There's much more personal attention, too.
Have Fun!

There generally isn't an increase in the parks due to the Jewish holiday. But this year you should keep in mind that many, many trips were rescheduled during Charley and Frances, and that September in general will likely have an attendance bump as people take those postponed trips!

Do you think Sept will have the boost from rescheduled trips or sometime later like October?
JUst didn't know if the majority of people who cancelled woud have pushed the reschedule further out.

Is it Really That Easy to reschedule? I thought most times if you don't/can't make the flight, then it's your loss. Also, is it really that easy for people to reschedule vacation time from their jobs?
I know if you're a government/city/state worker you take your vacation picks the December of the previous year. I know as a former New York City employee, if my vacation pick came up and there was crummy weather, my boss and co-workers would laugh if I suggested I take another week.
For those who could not make Disney this week due to the weather, I hope for their sake they can reschedule.
But I wouldn't count on thousands to be able to reschedule. But who knows? Anything is possible.

It depends on the circumstances. For something like a hurricane -- which no one can prevent or predict -- rescheduling is fairly easy from a travel standpoint, and you generally can reschedule without penalty. As for peoples' schedules, that depends on who you work for, obviously. But again, it was an act of God that cancelled the trip in the first place. I'd imagine a lot of employers are sensitive to that type of thing and are as accommodating as they can be when employees try to reschedule.
