For the rest of year

Just to give you a headup, Epcot was extremely crowded. Almost at Christmas week levels. It wasn't quiet in November either but this was much worse. Also we heard about a two hour wait at Guest Services at the Magic Kingdom. There was no park reservations available for Epcot the night we went. It was insanely crowded. There was a ninety minute wait at Spice road Table. I think it will like this for the rest of the year.

And if you have issues with your children hearing curse words and adult topics being loudly discussed, avoid Weekend nights at Epcot. It used to be just at Food and Wine but it has spread. We ran into several groups doing drink around the world who were doing that. I'm not judging if you want to drink go right ahead. This is just a warning for those who do mind these situations

On the plus side we did see Lisa Ling doing Canldelight Processional. She was really good. We left pretty quickly after going to the Regal Eagle for dinner

We were there late last week and saw the same thing. The crowds were a bit shocking, as were some of the 'adult' groups making the rounds (just makes it feel a little less 'family' at times, doesn't it?). But also loved the CP - so glad to see it back this year, even in a slightly different format, so it was worth it to get in the park and work through the people. All the construction didn't help with the crowds there either. Probably looking at another 3 weeks + of crowds like that, at least.

I feel like aside from COVID revenge travel, the secret is out on early to mid December at Disney World. I usually go around this time most years and found that crowds were getting heavier with each year. (pre-COVID) I think between the nice weather and holiday decorations, it's become a really popular time to go!

What a difference a month makes, Epcot wasn't super busy in early November even with Food and Wine but it wasn't horrible. We didn't even need to add Genie. We were able to get on Test Track and Soarin on standby, was like 30-45 minutes. We did the virtual queue for Ratatouille.

EPCOT was busy when we were there Wednesday (12/08/2021). It was okay though. We hit up Test track at rope drop. Took the whole 30 minutes. Managed to knock out the rest of the rides we like. We were able to get food in a reasonable amount of time. Just lots of people walking around World Showcase. We still had a good time.

I also think that we are seeing the guests who had to postpone their vacation due to Covid and that more people are coming because they are stir crazy especially after the pandemic
