Have the crowds in the parks actually increased enough to change the value, regular and peak seasons? I'm really bummed about the extra I'm gonna have to pay just because what used to be value season is now regular season. I don't remember a lot of people at Disney World in Oct-Nov 2000, has that much changed in four years?

Do you think that maybe since not as many people go in the fall, they raised the rates to regular season just so they could get more money?

Do you think that the change in seasons will decrease the crowds?

Maybe it has something to do with all the special events offered in Oct/Nov. They extended the Food & Wine Festival, Soap Weekend, MNSSHP, MVMCP, golf, Osbourne Lights, etc. etc.

October has really picked up in pace. There is enough of a demand to increase the price.

Do you think that maybe since not as many people go in the fall, they raised the rates to regular season just so they could get more money?

No, because that's the exact opposite of how economics works.

It may be a "Holiday" thing. I know that Easter tends to shift every year from March/April, and that has an impact on prices due to the "season". Maybe that has an impact on the later part of the year.

Just a theory!
