Crowd Pictures

A big shout out to BraveTeacher, who was at the World the same days (almost) as us!! (We were there Feb 1st-8.)

We were at Downtown Disney the same day!! (Feb. 4th) We looked very hard for ourselves in all your pictures, now it's your turn. :woohoo:

I looked through them all. You didn't get any of the 4 of us in your pics.

LOL! You should have seen my daughter and I: we practically had a magnifying glass out, looking for ourselves in yours. :rotfl:

We loved early Feb. The weather was nice, crowds obviously fantastic. We remember the longest wait being about 20-30 min., and walking on most rides.

For example, I remember going on Expedition Everest, and walking thru the section that just winds around and around inside a room, which was staged with all kinds of "previous expedition" souvenirs, proof that Bigfoot exists, etc., and just wanting to look at it!! Since there was no line, we just walked through, but I would not have minded having to wait there, and taken in all the details of the amazing theming.

I had two trips in 2008, february 1-3 and June 1-6. Both low crowds, February no surprise, June nice surprise.

photobob, we were also at the Wilderness Lodge, from Feb. 1-5. The we switched to the Dolphin on the 6th. We all loved the Lodge, more than the Dolphin!! :lovestruc :worship:

We are going the same week this year, I hope we have the luck of low crowds like you did....and the great weather! We have never enjoyed a Disney vacation without rain, it would be nice if it wouldn't rain this time....just this once!!

thanks for the great pics!

MK was busy but very doable. We got a lot done in the morning. It was very busy in the evening around the parade and fireworks time but I didn't get picks. We were too busy trying to get out.

AK was acctually much busier but I don't think my pics represent that. Next time I will take pictures of the long lines (less focus on DS)

10/29/07 - around 2PM taken from Alladin's Magic Carpets. I think this might be the only picture I've ever taken at WDW without people in it. I don't remember why nobody was there.

This was Monday May 5. Early afternoon. This was the busiest day of the week. Otherwise it wasn't too bad. I don't have any "empty" pictures the other person in early May took.

Mondays are always crowded in MK I have noticed lol....also that area is always crowded. That was the day we arrived to the world:banana:

When we went that Wednesday there was no wait for BTR lol. We like ran on lol.

OMG I love the guy in the orange plaid. He cracks me up.

Crowd at Space Ship Earth at 11am on 4-1-08
The sign to the right says, wait time 20 minutes from this point, but there were rows upon rows of people waiting before that. We skipped it.

In 7 trips I have never seen that...longest line I have seen is from right at the loading dock out to the wait time sign...not even 5 minutes ever....:scared1:

This was shortly after the refurb, so that might have had something to do with it.
In the first pic, you can see a guy in an orange shirt near the back. That guy was in line!

We were there in January 08 (after Marathon) during a "soft opening" of the new SE. I am pretty sure any pics of SE during the first 4 months or so can seem misleading as to the rest of the park. Of course I am sure if I am off by any number of days it will be called out by the DIS police as to being totally unrealistic and an abnormality. :confused3 I just know we were there in 1-08 and SE wasn't open at all times during our stay.

Was there any real reason for that...thats just instigating problems...:confused3

We left after lunch, so I can't vouch for the rest of the day, but Epcot was pretty packed that morning. Nemo and Friends had a pretty long line and Soarin' was at 55min by 9:30am, but SE was by far the worst. The area over by Ellen's Energy Adventure were pretty dead though. Never made it over to Test Track.

Don't worry. I don't consider you the DIS police. You don't even know the difference between Iron Maiden and KISS for God's sake! ;) Actually it's posts like this that drag stuff out. ;)

Very nice! I'm pretty sure they ALL wear makeup just some way more obvious than the others. Oh, and some spit blood, blow fire, have smoking guitars and have comic books printed with their "real blood" but that's neither here nor there. ;)

I don't need policing though. I simply played a card that was played earlier tonight. I totally agreed with Matt tonight on another thread in regards to FP's. I was simply replying to Matt's pic about SE and why it "may" appear to seem like the park is really crowded. Every ride could have been like that for all I know. I wasn't replying to "cause crap". I just wasn't sure of the dates that SE actually opened for real (just know we did the new one in Jan 08) and didn't want to get the wrath of others.

So....back to my point ;)

:lmao:

I was a part of that FP thread but it just got way too silly...one side not wanting to believe the other side, or even listen to the other side...

so I kust bowed out after saying my piece...
