Does anyone have pics from a Super Bowl weekend? We will be here on Feb 1-8, 2009. Wanted 2 do MK on Monday, Feb 2nd~!

These are from November 16-21, 2008. The first three are from 9-10:30 am but the rest are afternoons.

None of those look that scary though as far a busy crowds go. Disneyland on a typical weekend day is 10x that....

I'm waiting for some June pics!! So far, nothing has surprised me...

We are here from Jan 3 2009 (Saturday) to Jan 9 2009 (Friday)... and the crowd was moderate, but heavier then I expected. Three years ago, we went after Thanksgiving (Saturday after Thanksgiving, for 7 days), and this was heavier then that. E tix rides on this trip were 30-50 minutes (as oppose to walk through three years ago), and crowd size was heavier, in general.

I'd dare say the recent Disney promotions may be having some affects to attendance...

There is a recent thread, I will see if I can find it for you....that was talking about how the crowds have died down somewhat...I think the Marathon is next week isnt it....that might make it a bit crowded

Thank you kindly! I hear the marathon doesn't interfere too much as far as the parks go, but we'll see. We are always prepared with a solid touring plan and arriving early.

It can interfer with transportation around the parks
We were there during the Marathon this past Jan. and it took us 1 1/2 hours to get our rental car back to the Dolphin from POP. We were supposed to return to the car care center right after the entrance to the MK, but when we finally got there you couldnt even cross the road because the runners ran in front of it. We could literally holler across the road to the car man, but not take the car across
We ended up having to take it to the Dolphin hotel instead and were rerouted- it was not easy to get around.
If you are driving yourself to the parks then expect delays. Im not sure how it affects bus transportation.

Oh those lights are so beautiful! When we saw them this past 11/30 DH could barely lift his arms to take a picture. It seemed like twice as many people as in your picture. My daughter had a near panic attack!
