Crowd levels

Spent 15-19th at the parks and DL on the 16th was insanely busy just for that day. Spent 15 & 18 at DCA. DCA on the 15th was not very busy. The 18th was great Increda coaster never had more then a 15 min wait we rode it 4 times. A lot of the time it was walk-on. Also went to OBB and enjoyed the parade and treat trails. Villains Grove was kinda lame in my opinion. The heat the whole week was ridiculous for mid Sept.

Relatedly, yesterday was one of the most crowded Friday evenings I've seen. Huge crowds walking down Main Street after park close (normally very sparse by then), and long waits for Toy Story shuttle. They had to bring out extra corrals for the Toy Story shuttle line, re-directing the entrance for the line a bit closer to the security checkpoints.

They’re allowing larger number of MK into the park. Allegedly more than half the ML base is Imagine; as long as they have access to the parks on Fridays, then if you want to be in the parks past the afternoon it should be avoided.

Yesterday TS parking lot wasn’t too bad. We usually walk back and there were way more people walking than there normally are, so seemingly lots of out-of-towners. I saw an unusually large number of people wearing WDW stuff, which supports that. And the number of scooters in the park made it feel like we were in the Magic Kingdom. When we walked past the TS handicap bus at 11:20pm, there was a line of at least two dozen scooters waiting to board (people staying in nearby hotels using the shuttle). Very WDW like indeed.

I,too, noticed many more scooters than usual last week. Along with the return of the GIANT wagons! When did that happen...I didn't see hardly any last June. Those things are a menace.

The wagons are allowed only if you have special needs children, but word is spreading that you merely need to tell security such to get them through. Thus people are taking advantage. I’ve seen numerous videos on TT promoting this “hack.” Meanwhile, they’ve blocked one of the Fantamsic viewing areas off due to the increased space strollers and wagons demand.
