Crowd levels, Last week of February

I just posted this on the Feb 2011 thread, but you should try going to Touringplans.com. I've been using their crowd predictions for WDW for a few years, and they've always been pretty accurate, from what I can tell.

I think it's somewhat recent that they are posting crowd levels for Disneyland. I'm using them for planning purposes for President's Day weekend.

It is Presdient's Week and many CA schools have the entire week off.

OMG!

Friday is a 10 of 10! THAT SUCKS!!! thats when the whole family will be there.. YUCKY...

on the plus side... Sunday goes to a 5 and Monday goes to a 3!!!!

I didnt really play to much part in dates as.the main reason for the visit is a.family wedding

....I am booked there too...not thrilled about the potential crowds but I cannot change the crowds; it is out of my control. So we are just going with the attitude of having fun and enjoying ourselves in the moment.

I forgot to change the ticker once we changed the dates. Sad to see it so much farther away but it's not too bad. So excited all I can do is search out everything Disney right now!

I'm not sure how they've determined the crowd levels on touring plans, but it was nowhere near as crowded last year as what they're predicting for it this year, and it certainly didn't stop us from going again for President's Week this year. I don't remember us ever having any really long waits for anything, but maybe this year with all the closures they expect things to be a little different?

Good to hear! We are taking our trip President's Week from NH and were worried about some of the other posts. We are used to crowds (WDW at New Year's) but were hoping for moderat crowds for our first trip to DL!

Just wanted to pipe in and say that we will be there the last weekend in Feb and 1st week of March!

I'm SO excited because we weren't sure until just yesterday if DH could get the time off work. This is a surprise trip for DS's 6th Birthday and we are going to be able to pull it off!!!

Not to hijack...but are you planning anything special for them?? Is it a surprise or do they know?

DS has NO clue! We are planning on surprising him at his birthday party Friday night and then leave Sat morning for Cali! So I'm looking for some good ideas and special things to do to celebrate once we get there.

I know about the buttons and I already have an idea on how we are going to surprise him.should be fun!!
