crowd levels dec 20-23

I tried to find trip reports from Dec 20-23 and no luck so far. Are the crowds stupid crazy at this time of the year to where a first timer will not have luck doing anything?

Yeah, those are some of the busiest days at disneyland, i did a simple google search for "disney crowd calendar december 2013" and is seems very unlikely that you'd enjoy it as much as lets say a couple of weeks before.

Yeah it will be pretty packed, you'll be looking at some really long wait times. The 16-19th would be much better.

Dec. 31st is the busiest day of the year. There will be gate closures that week.

It is the busiest week of the year. The Rose Bowl teams/parade bands start arriving on the 26/27 and it will be busy until the 2nd-3rd...
