Crowd Calendars

Does anyone have any insight into room availability and crowd calendars? We are going Jersey week and there is very limited hotel availability, yet the crowd calendars are at level 2-4.

The crowd calendars (at least some of them) are based on attraction wait times, not how many people will actually be there.

Crowds are mainly affected by how many offsite guests are visiting. There are some 120k+ hotel rooms in the greater Orlando area. There are around 35k rooms on property, including the DS area hotels. So that's barely a third. Then you have those renting homes, Airbnb, or just driving in from surrounding areas.

Jersey week is not as bad as it is made out to be. Same as Veterns day week.

Historically they used to be great weeks to go.

Now they are more crowded, but most weeks are if the kids are out of school somehwere.

I have been Jersey week several times , and it was a 4 maybe a 5.

Plus they don't actually rent out every single room. Some are being renovated, some are held back for x reason, etc.
