Crowd Calendar Next 10 Days?

Anyone know what's going on? Touring Plans just drastically changed crowd levels for the next week taking EPCOT up to 8 on Monday. Can that be right? Until today, it's been 1.9!!!!!

I can't say why it's up, but our trip last summer saw a sizable jump in the weeks before we left. Didnt go from 1 - 8 though. Hopefully it's a mistake.

I just noticed this as well. Unfortunately, I doubt it is a mistake as Disney has been extending park hours also.

I'm totally panicking. EPCOT is now showing 9.4 for Monday and is the park to avoid. It's been the park to go to at 1.9 for months and months. I'm so upset...this may throw off all our plans. I don't see how we can possibly do EPCOT with it that crowded that day...

We'll be there next week, as well, and have plans to spend Monday evening at Epcot. That's a serious jump in the crowd level, and doesn't really make much sense, given that the MK has an evening EMH, but I'm not going to make myself crazy over it.

We have park hoppers, so if we encounter a wall of people when we enter Epcot, we can always switch gears and head over to the MK or backtrack to HS.

Try not to panic too much. Just take a deep breath, go with the flow and remember that it's still better to be in a crowd at Disney than to be stuck at work!

PS - just took a look at the last crowd level that I printed out, vs. the new numbers that are out today, and lots of things seem strange. For example, the crowd level at Epcot on Saturday, Oct. 22 dropped from an 8.7 to a 2.1. A 2.1...on a Saturday during the Food & Wine Festival?! Kinda hard to swallow that one...even with a Grey Goose Slushie or two! Having seen that, I'm taking these new numbers with a HUGE grain of salt.

How can Epcot be the recommended park on 10/26 with an evening EMH? That doesn't make sense. Josh hasn't changed his recommendations on Easywdw.com.

I agree that is strange, but the EPCOT rating only considers ride wait times.

Actually, they're playing on the 31st. We're talking about crowd levels on the 24th.

Tourguide Mike had updates today but the recommended parks didn't change. Something's not right with TP. Especially with the 10/22 drop at Epcot.

The Saturday Epcot number is what is throwing me. I don't understand that one.

Something's definitely wrong. For 10/26 TP shows the best park as Epcot but the wording up top says to avoid Epcot on 10/26. It also says that they're recommending AK but then it's listed as a neutral park down below. Something's screwy. Sit tight, I figure it's just a glitch.

I thought it was all wonky, too, since the wording still supported the previous numbers/crowd rating but the actual numbers went sky-high!

Everyone cross your fingers that this is just a weird-o glitch!

We'll be there 11/11-11/22,and TP #'s have increased significantly!! Now I know why so many people like QS instead of TS-all of our ADR'S are "tying" us to places we may not want to be(with these "new"#'s and all)!! Oh well-just gonna have to go with the flow!

We went to Epcot on Sunday, primarily based on a TP number of 1.3. WS was very full - I wonder if they're trying to account for F&W numbers...?

They shouldn't...it says on there somewhere that they figure up those numbers for the rides not for the F&W crowds.

I agree that something isn't right with Touring Plans crowd calendar today. i've been watching our dates (Dec 8th thru Dec 12th) and Epcot on Friday Dec 9th was high and now it's at 1.1. Saturday at Epcot had been low and now it's way high. I bet they did an update incorrectly and it will get adjusted soon.

I emailed them and he said it was correct. I emailed back and specifically asked about EPCOT on Monday, Oct. 24 that just jumped from 1.9 to 9.4 but I haven't heard back from him. If I hear something, I'll update y'all! Still hoping for an error.

I came on the DIS tonight to see if anyone else thought these numbers didn't seem to make sense! It's really throwing me too! I've been going over the new numbers with my husband. We are gonna wait and see but like someone else said, having the DP is kinda tying us down!
