Crossroads Resturants

I hate to ask this again but please help.

I will at disney in may I though someone said that you could take the bus to DTD and then walk to crossroads is that true??

and can you please tell me what resturnats are at crossroads.

Yes, you can walk to Crossroads from DTD.

There are many restaurants there. Friday's, Pizza Uno, Jungle Jims, McDonald's and a Mexican one (I think) to name a few. Oh, and Pebbles and I think Red Lobster. There is an Olive Garden on the corner of Palm Parkway and SR535 with an Ale House on the opposite corner.

Brooke, if you take the bus to DTD and intend to walk to Crossroads, be sure to exit at the Marketplace. Even so it is probably a good 1/2 mile walk to Crossroads. From the Westside of DTD it would be a VERY long walk.

Brooke, I do NOT recommend walking to the Crossroads from Downtown Disney. It would be a bit a hike but that's not the worst part. You have to cross a major busy intersection and it is always EXTREMELY busy in that area. We go there to eat sometimes or to the grocery store (in our rental car) and we almost always see a lot of bedlem in traffic, accidents, or almost accidents. Also by the time you eat and are full the walk back will seem twice as long. I'm sorry to be a downer and I don't doubt that you can walk and get there but remember there are a lot of tourists who are unfamiliar with the area, looking for signs, etc. and walking can be dangerous because you may see them but they may not see you.

Directly across from the main entrance to Walt Disney World, the Crossroads of Lake Buena Vista contains 11 restaurants and more than 25 shops catering primarily to tourists. Upscale and casual shops are geared to sun and surf, electronics, and children, but the necessities, such as the 24-hour Gooding's supermarket (tel. 407/827-1200), post office, bank, and cleaners, are also here. You can find the usual franchised restaurants as well as some local spots, such as the casual Pebbles. While you shop, your offspring can entertain themselves at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf. Take I-4 to Exit 27. Stores daily 10-10; restaurant hrs vary.
