I just noticed that the winter thaw resort discount rates are on the Disney web page. I think that this was just the ammo that I needed to convince my mother that we should go on a "mother/daughter" trip next month. She is thinking it over right now and might call tonight with her decision. I'm trying to avoid getting too excited right now but she sounded pretty positive when I suggested we go..........and I can't avoid excitement. She hasn't been since 1988 so I am excited to see the newer things in the park through her eyes! So please, send me your wishes!

LOOK LOOK LOOK!!!!!!!! I got a countdown timer! And.....the number on the timer is not all that high! My mom decided to go and even convinced my dad to go! We are all going to try to get my brother to go as well. This will be the first family vacation in years! Thanks for the pixie dust leahannpen, it worked! I'm so excited!

YEA for you kaabost!!!! Look at my countdown timer - looks like we will be there at the same time - at least you don't have to wait too much longer, I've been planning our trip since March and it seems like it has taken forever to get here. I hope you have a great time

Congrats Kevs mom! Wear your lime green and maybe we will run into each other. I think that I joined the countdown at the point where is seems to go very slowly (ANTICIPATION). At least we will have the Christmas season occupying much of this long, drawn out waiting, hehehe.

Thanks mamajoan, it might be a little strange (in a good way) as I have not gone on an actual VACATION with my parents since I was in grade school. I think it will be a nice experience going on a family vacation as an adult. I'm not sure if they know just how fortunate they are that I don't live with them.......I would drive them crazy talking about the trip for the next 51 days! BTW, thanks guys for all of your kind words!
