Let me first start out by saying I would never have imagined I would EVER wear a pair of these shoes...Everytime I saw them, I thought of cheap shoes...

Well my MIL was in town last month, and while out at the outlets, we spotted some Cotton Candy color on sale. She told me I HAD to try them, and she bought me a pair, along with herself..

I AM HOOKED!!

I wear them ALL the time...I just wish I could wear them to my new job!! I can't wait to wear them to the parks!

I am a convert!

They are great in the garden too. I wear them when it's super muddy and they just hose right off.

I tried to buy some Croc style golf shoes yesterday at the golf show and my DD14 wouldn't let me. She did make a good point that they had holes in them (on purpose) and your feet would get wet and sand would get into them but they were so light and comfy!!! They were butt ugly though. :lmao:

I wear imitation crocs...I just can't see spending so much money for that type of shoe. I don't like paying for a "name."

I don't own either real or fake Crocs but having tried on both, there is a significant difference between the two so you are paying for the quality, not the name.

As long as they work for you...

We've tried both, though, and there is a huge difference.

Glad your happy with them. they are comfortable but sorry I have size 9 1/2 feet with very skinny ankles. I brought a pair for disney 2 years ago, I caught a picture of me in white shorts and red crocs. I threw them out the 2nd I got back to the WL They made me look like the lead clown coming out of the clown car.
I'm headed to Europe this summer and I'm vain enough to not want to look like Bubbles the clown.
I own a pair for house work and the garden but there are just too many shoes that are comfortable and stylish for me to wear them out.

Bwwaaahahahahahah...another convert sucked in...

:thumbsup2 ITA!

I bought a pair of Disney Crocs from the Crocs website about 2 months ago for $10 w/ free shipping. I haven't even seen knock offs for that cheap. The fakes hurt my feet. Crocs are the perfect park shoe, comfy and waterproof. I can't believe that people will go on a water ride in sneakers and put up with wet shoes and socks the rest of the day.

I never thought that I would own a pair myself as I didn't think they looked very comfortable and DH had his own 2 cents to add all the time. How they are a fad and everyone has them. But to my surprise, when the Disney ones were on sale about a year ago on line and he bought me a pink pair! I love them. :goodvibes

I must be the only person who can't wear them. They hurt my feet. I couldn't even stand to walk across the store in them the few times I've tried them on. My husband calls me the Princess and the Pea. LOL
Nancy princess:

Nancy, NO, you're not the only one! I find them hideously UNcomfortable...which is good, because I think they are hideously ugly too. ;)

To each their own, but I will never understand the fascination with those awful clown shoes.

"You took the words right out of my mouth" as Meatloaf would sing.
Nancy :rolleyes1

I started with the knock-offs (Croc-offs?) and noticed a big improvement when I bought my authentic Mickey Crocs. I've had them for several years now and I'm growing tired of them. :)

i own one pair. they are navy blue. they were awesome for my life guarding job i had last summer. havent worn them since.

I have a pair of the Crocs flip flops and I love, love, love them!

I thought they were hideous looking, but I was in the park and my feet were hurting. I tried a pair and was hooked. when you need comfort they are the shoes to wear at WDW. I have three types. The clog style, the Athens flip flop and the cleo sandals. I absolutely love the Athens and the Cleo the best and will wear them at home. The clog style, I do not wear at home.

I first had the imitation one at home and when i bought my real crocs at the park, what a difference.

I would never pay top dollar (except my initial pair). I bought the Athens last year for $9.99 and then bought the cleo for $14.00. They were on sale with free shipping. Can't get better than that for the kind of comfort they give me.

I have the Croc boots. They keep my feet dry and warm when I am out in the snow and dampness. Love them!!!!!

With the exception of the Payless version, the imitations all seem to be ENTIRELY too uncomfortable - much less flexible, a different material entirely.

Somebody asked me once why I 'need' about thirty pairs :rotfl2: Well, let's see - two turquoise, two lime (second of each for when the first wears out plus they were on sale), black beach, black Mickey, red Mickey, kelly green, peacock, fuschia, flame, ruby, silver mary janes, purple mary janes, celery mary janes, my original sea blue caymans, plain mammoths in six color combinations, Eagles mammoths because, well, the lining is deep green, Patriots Crocs, Red Sox Crocs... oh, yeah - and those two pairs of tie-dyed looking Payless imitations!
