Crocs

I got Crocs last year when I first heard about them. I love them. I went to go buy another pair and they seem really hard. I don't remember my first pair being that hard. Has anybody bought some from last year and then got some this year? Do you notice a difference?

I am noticing the same thing. The first ones that I bought were squishy soft, but here lately, they have been hard. They do soften up with time, but nothing like the old ones.

Anybody else? I'm trying to decide if I should buy another pair. I don't want them if they are going to be hard.

You're saying they are hard... but are they at least still comfortable?? I've never bought them before but was thinking of trying the new Athens style (the flip flop one) because I love flip flops and would love comfy ones to wear to the parks!!

I've been thinking of buying the crocs lately too. Are they being manufactured in a different country now?

Sometimes I have noticed that the same item, made in a different country fits or feels differently. It happened with a pair of jeans I bought at Target last summer. The first pair were great, comfortable, soft. I went back a month later and picked up another pair of the same pants. Got them home and noticed they were not as soft and did not fit as well -- waist was bigger. I looked at the size to make sure I hadn't picked up the wrong size by mistake and saw that one was made in Argentina and one was from Guatamala.
