Crocs??

I broke down and got a pair of Crocs this weekend. I wanted to go subtle and decided on the Zebra Striped ones with the green polka dots. After wearing them around for a day I've come to the conclusion that they aren't for me. It seems they made my feet pretty uncomfortable. Here's my feet after wearing them for just 4 or 5 hours...

I have a pair of Crocs and I love them. I recommend the flip flop style. They look like normal shoes and I think they are more comfortable than the traditional style. They have more support to me.

Ok that last post was alittle too disturbing...lol...anyhow...thanks for the input about sizing my crocs. I think I am going to love them. I have wide feet and have touble sometimes getting shoes to feel comfortable on me...I have also have had foot surgery on both feet...so comfort is a must for me. I love flip flops but Old Navy are the only ones I can wear because if I wear others...my little toe is out over the edge...lol...ouch!

My daughter doesn't like my crocs...when I went shopping with her yesterday and bought them she said they looked like old lady shoes...she even tried them on when we got home (after I pestered her too) and she DOES NOT like them...oh well she can wear her Chucks or Vans all she wants...I think hers are ugly too. She actually thinks she can wear flip flops all over Disney...good luck on her feet...I guess I will have to hear her whinning to give up my crocs to her then...and I will have the last laugh! By the way...she is 15 years old...ugh! :rotfl2:

Crocs are awesome!! We just returned from a week in Disney where we went to the parks every day...sometimes all day. I wore my Crocs every day but one...sometimes with socks, sometimes without...never had a blister, never had sore feet or tired legs or a sore back...all of which is a miracle for me! The one day I wore my Tevas they rubbed a sore around my ankle...so back to the Crocs. My only surprise was that for all of the comments on this board I only saw about 10 people wearing them during our whole trip. Most everyone else was wearing tennis shoes...which I find too hot!

I wear a 9.5 in womens also. I got a L in the Beach model last year and they were fine. The shoe is really not suppose to touch your feet. I have ordered a cayman model for this summer and got the size 10 because I don't want them tight. Will see how they fit in 4 to 5 days. Don't make that mistake of getting them to small. I just don't see how they would be confortable. We love our crocs

but a large is 8-9, a xl is 10-11

i want to make the right choice because I am going to buy them online; my mom is even going to get my 6yo sister a pair because she tried on a pair when we were at sports chalet but they dont have the color she wants :rotfl:

I was wondering about the sizes. i am a 9.5 womens (usa) and I tried on the ones that are 8-9 (are those beach) and they were too small and then I tried on the 10-11 and they fit loose, is that good?? Or should I buy the other shoes (cayman) that have different sizing?

I would suggest the Caymans. I tried the Beach style and couldn't get them to feel right either. I generally wear a 7.5 and the 7 in the Cayman style was a good fit. When I bought them my toes touched the end with the strap around back. I put them in a warm (not hot) dryer for about 2 minutes and then gently pulled on the strap to stretch it. Then they fit perfectly! LOVE THEM!

Well I am hoping for them to fit right w/o having to put them in the dryer. :confused3

Does anyone have 9.5-10 womens size feet and have bought the beach crocs ? or caymans?

I need to shrink a pair of Crocs just a little bit, the med were a little tight but the large are a little too loose. So any reccomendations; dryer, microwave, leave them out in the sun? Any help is apprecited.

I broke down & bought a pair today. :woohoo: Two different stores & neither one carried black in my size. Sheesh! I ended up with khaki--DH said it was probably a better choice (he might be right but I'll never tell him that! :rotfl2: )

They were a little tight over the top of my feet so I put them in the dryer for a couple minutes---or at least until I heard a crash & discovered that the shoes somehow caused my dryer door to fly open. :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl: But a little bit of stretching & they're fitting better so far.

Now DH wants a pair. :goodvibes

:confused3 OK...I got my first pair of Crocs yesterday but I am not sure if they fit like they should...when I use the strap, my big toe hits the end alittle but she I don't use the strap they fit fine. I wear a size 81/2-9 shoe (depending on the shoe) and I got a med Croc which is supposed to fit size 8-9. I tried on a large and it just flopped alot on my feet. Did I go good or not? I was pretty boring in picking black too but I love black...if I like this pair, I will consider getting other colors though...they do seem pretty comfy, with the exception of the toe thing with the strap. Help me on deciding if I should take them back and get the floppy ones...??

Pull on the straps and it should stretch so it does not push your feet forward.
