I just got my crocs and have enjoyed wearing them more with socks than without. I know they probably look ridiculous with socks...especially when "shorts" season is here, but I'm going for comfort!

What do you do..... socks or not?

I just got mine a week ago, so I haven't worn them to WDW yet. However, I definitely plan to wear mine with socks. For one thing my feet are so sweaty, I'm sure they'd be more comfortable with socks, and also, I just can't help but think I might get blisters if I didn't wear socks. And fashionable? Hey, I wore sandals with socks at WDW!

My son has a fit when I wear them!! Women who see them tell me how cute they are. HUH??? I think they are ugly and make my feet look HUGE, but they are comfortable!!

I don't get blisters, but I wear the back strap up on the top. They'd be too loose if I tried to put the strap around my ankle.

I have only worn mine without socks. They look strange enough without adding socks too!!!

It was a little cool here yet when I first got mine, so I was wearing them with socks and jeans. Now that it's short/capri weather, I'm wearing them without socks. They are wonderful either way. :cloud9:

I don't own the CROCS yet but interested in the answers. I really hate wearing shoes without socks so not sure what to do. Usually, when I wear sandals, it's not an all day thing to begin with, let alone walking alot.

I looked at the faux CROCS on the Payless website (posted on another thread) and saw only slip on ones with a 'strap' going across the top. Is that what you are talking about? Can the strap be moved to wear either way? I can't wear a slip on

I have mostly worn mine with socks. I have worn them a few times without socks. I have worn them with the strap around back and up on the top. I love them any way I wear them! The only time they felt weird was one day I put lotion on my feet and did not wear socks. The lotion kinda hung around on the shoes rather than absorb into my feet. Won't do that agin! Of course I have no idea why I did it anyway LOL.

I often get "Are those gardening shoes?" comments. They are strange shoes and people love to look at them.

I have done both. If I'm wearing them with capris or shorts, I go without.

I've been wearing mine without socks. But--tonight I walked around our park (about a mile) in them for the first time and I didn't wear socks. I got a small "contact" blister on the top right of my left foot where the shoe ends. That's the only place I got one. I think I will try putting mole skin or something else there tomorrow when I walk to see if I get the same thing. Other that that, I love them. I was sad that I got that little blister.

I think I will wear mine with socks that just go up to my heel and not my ankle. I think that will probably look okay with shorts. Maybe it will help with matching color socks, instead of white, too.

Socks with Crocs...NEVER! Sorry I don't against the cardnal rule. Socks with sandals is a no-no. So the Beach, Caymans and Niles are out (IMO) no socks.

However I feel you can wear socks with the other styles, Highlands and Metro. :teeth: But who the heck am I anyway :rotfl:

Yep, I wear socks with my crocs. Right now, I have been wearing jeans with them and socks. This summer, I plan on getting some of the little ankle socks and wearing those with my crocs.

I just got mine last week - one pair of Nile & one Beach - after reading the recommendations on this board. I love them! :cheer2:

I wish I had known about these last summer when I was pregnant and had sore swollen feet! I am wearing them today without socks, and that's probably the way I'll go!

For those in the know--when I order the nile do they run wide, narrow or true to size? I really want them for summer but I don't know which size to order for a 9.5 wide foot?
