Well, today was really a test day for the Crocs, as I wore them to school. Kids are at Special Area now. So far so good. Very comfy! Now here's teh great part.... I'm wearing the BRIGHT YELLOW ones! The kids are cracking up and think I have lost my mind. Actually, they think they're great!

Had recess duty today and my poor Crocs got all dirty. Will be cleaning them up tonight. Can't wait to wear the bright pink ones to class! OoooOOOoo

I've been wearing mine without socks. But--tonight I walked around our park (about a mile) in them for the first time and I didn't wear socks. I got a small "contact" blister on the top right of my left foot where the shoe ends. That's the only place I got one. I think I will try putting mole skin or something else there tomorrow when I walk to see if I get the same thing. Other that that, I love them. I was sad that I got that little blister.

I got a blister on the TOP of my foot too...right where the top of the shoe is. Funny, I wore them nearly every day at the parks for 7 days with no trouble, then on day 3 of a three-day trip back to WDW, i get a blister that bursts and bleeds. OOPS!

I've looked at the pics of crocs but can't quite figure out the answer to my question. Does anyone know how much of a heel (how high off the ground they are) CROCS have? It hurts the arches of my feet if the shoes I wear are almost flat to the ground, so the shoes I wear have to have some type of heel to it. Hopefully someone who has crocs can answer my question. :flower:

I ordered a pair from the Croc website last week. Taking the advice on another thread I ordered size small, even though I have feet like Donald Duck and wear a size 8 or 8-1/2. Hope they come soon!

Was at the mall yesterday and tried on pair of "Mock Crocs" in size small. My foot absoultely swam in them! I hope the "real" Crocs run smaller. If not, I assume I can return for a smaller size.

Anyone else surprised by the fit?

I generally wear a size 8. I asked the CROCS folks when I ordered mine if I should get small or medium. They told me medium. I actually got mine at a Hallmark store (yes, they are REAL Crocs). I tried on the small, convinced that's what I would need. It wasn't comfortable. My toes were right up against the front of the shoe. I kinda swim in the medium BUT I will say that after wearing them for almost a week, they are starting to "mold" to my foot, so my feet aren't sliding like they were before. I'm glad I got the medium.

I wear mine with socks now but will go sockless once it s tops snowing! Actually I had a laundry crisis the other day and had to wear these striped socks with individual toes that I got as a gag gift for Christmas and they looked beautiful through the holes in my crocs. Now I want all sorts of bright striped socks because it looks so cool.

It is not a flat shoe by any means. I'm guessing the heal is a good 3/4 inch off of the ground, if not a little more. I have really, really high arches and this shoe cradles it perfect. It keeps my foot balanced and I don't have anymore arch pain at all.

Thanks for answering my question. Crocs sound like they would be perfect for me. I'm definately ordering a pair in pink! :flower:

I really like how the little bumps on the sole feel against my foot. It's like you can scratch your foot by just moving your foot around in the Crocs. Yeah its kinda weird but they work. Plus they are so so so light.

I tried a pair of faux CROCS on at Payless and no way in heck could I go sockless in them. Socks for sure, for me.

I do both, socks and no socks, depends on my mood for the day, and a little about the weather. --when it rains-- no socks, takes too long to dry :teeth:

grr Nile or beach? I saw the beach ones on someone on campus today and they are selling them in the campus book store (in a ton of colors) but I dont know if i would be happier in the nile ones. Are the nile ones more stylish??
