CROCS - Where to buy ??

I ordered 3 pairs on Sunday from shoebuy.com using a link from msn.com which gave me 20% off + another 10% for registering as a customer.

Even with the $42 delivery cost :scared1: It worked out approx £20 per pair.

Best bit was they arrived yesterday and no additional VAT costs.

I saw them in a shop in Birmingham airport last week just outside the departures lounge

Are these shoes any good as swim shoes or is that something completely different?? I am thinking of when we go to discovery cove, will we be able to wear them in the water?

A word of warning Crocs are lethal if the tread is slightly wearing on wet surfaces so i would not recommend them for water parks.

Hi,

Great thread!

I ordered DH caymans and DS croclings from taylorshoes.com on Tue, they were dispatched yesterday, total cost £45 inc delivery. I couldn't find cotton candy caymans to fit me and DD on taylors or crocseurope, so I ordered them from ebay, seller in wisconsin, and they were dispatched the next day, cost £61 delivered.

Keep watching for the delivery man now!!

Lynn

I bought a pair of Mary Jane Crocs (Red) on Sunday (I had been into the shop to try them on a week before, but didn't buy them as I hadn't read this thread to know if they were ment to be worn that loose). Anyway, once I knew which size, I went in and they had a 20% off everything in store for that day only! So they worked out at £24. I had them on today and I am so glad I decided to get a pair before Florida. I have worn Jesus sandals for years in all weather and not only were these more comfy, they are also nicer looking and more shoe like.

Anyway, I haven't worn anything for years that weren't trainers or Jesus sandals (I can't wear any heel- even a tiny kitten heel) and these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I'd equate the comfy factor to slippers! I let my aunt try them on for her trip to Florida and she is going to go and get some now.

To the point: I think if you are looking to get into increasing walking in preparation for the parks then the extra money would be well spent in getting a pair before you go. That way they extra couple of quid you spend on them here may get you extra time in the park each day. Plus, you don't have to take time out to go and get them (if you are looking for a particular colour/style).

I noticed that ASDA had some 'Crocs' type shoes on display - not sure how they compare with the original Crocs. I'll have a look to see what the price is tonight :)

My crocs arrived today!! They were posted in the US on Monday, seller from wisconsin on ebay. I ordered a size M7 for me and M5 for DD (we're uk 7 & 5) and they are perfect! We haven't taken them off yet, DH and DS are waiting for theirs to come from taylorshoes, prob monday or tuesday!

The ASDA Crocs copies (I assume they are copies - look as silly as the real ones LOL) are £5 a pair :)

Hmmmm....may go and check them out.....can't go for £5.00 I'm only planning on wearing them on hols.....but what if they cut in seeing that they are copies.

Has anyone found the croc flipflops (Athens, Capri or Crete) in any UK shops? As I'd like to try them on before buying!

I looked at the Asda ones this morning and they are sized 5/6 which I found small on me and my daughter hated them, even worse she said than my genuine Crocs :)

Plus they were all bashed from being boxed which doesn't happen with my Crocs.

10% off here... http://www.fitfeetuk.com/index.html

And Littlewoods are selling them online for £29 but if you are a first time buyer you can get £15 off your first order.

I ordered ours from Taylors and had no problems whatsoever :goodvibes , my DD's both have the pink Mickey Croc's & I have a pair of Athens so does my Mum, and they are really really comfortable :goodvibes . I'm pretty sure next are also selling them (Athens) in the directory.

Not sure if you have a Charles Clinkard shoe shop near you, they sell all 3 types + Beach / Caymens

Just got back today and both me and wife bought Crocs . There were lots of places selling copies, original ones seemed scarce however we bough 2 pairs of normal Crocs at Nordstron in Florida Mall and a pair of Flip flop variety at Macys. All were $30.00.
Disney sold them as well with a Mickey cut out for the holes. They were dearer at $37.00

If anyone going in the near future remember that Macys do a tourist discount can't remember how much think it was 10% even on sale stock.
