:wave2: Hello. Saw the Crocs Scutes on the Crocs website and I think it is something I would like. Is there a better deal than just buying them straight from crocs.com?

Also, any feedback about the Scutes would be appreciated! TIA

I was wondering this also, just saw them on the crocs website last night. Here in the Midwest we don't get the new styles for a few months and I would like to try these on before buying.

Quick search; I found them at nofeargear.com, extremefootwear.com and dillards.com (and on page two of the search was the link to THIS thread - eerie!)

Thanks for the links! No, they are definitely for women too. They have 9 different color combos, including black with LIME! It looks like Dillards only has the men's style. Nofeargear has Free Shipping. I think I'm gonna check it out . . .

I usually wear an 8, though in some shoes it can be tight. But since I have read on this board that Crocs usually run large, I think I will go ahead with the 8 and see how it goes!

I am really hoping to find these in a store where I can try them on. I am SO bad about returning things I order when they don't fit. I don't need them til the end of September so hopefully by then.

Hi
I ordered my Croc Scutes from their website. I love them. I usually take an 8 1/2 and I ordered a 9. They fit great. I'm hoping they come out with a neutral color, like tan or khaki. I ordered the navy blue. They are wide, but I have a wide foot. If you have a narrow foot, they might be a little to wide for you, but that's whats great about them. They don't rub. The one shoe rubbed a little on the top when I got it, but I put it in the dryer for about a minute and pulled on it and it feels fine.

Well, I guess I am going to bite the bullitt and buy the black with lime! I'll let y'all know how it goes!

Thanks firkat. I saw them and I am thinking about ordering them. I really wanted the top part to be the tan part, but I should decide soon since we're leaving on the 17th. :)

does anyone have these??I think I would like these, but do the run too size.if I am a 7.5 would I order the 7 or the 8

I don't own any crocs yet . . . I think I read that they run a little large, so maybe you should go with a 7 . . . but I'm not sure. Then again, they are supposed to fit loosely, so maybe you should go with 8 . . .

Perhaps someone who owns crocs could give you a better idea.

I saw a few of the scutes at Sports Authority last week.

I usually fall right about an 8 and I have the Niles in navy blue in an 8 and they are fine! A bit roomy, but that makes them more comfortable. The MaryJanes also fit nicely in an 8...I wear them alot more often! :thumbsup2

I just ordered Scutes from the Crocs website last night. I wear a 7 1/2 so I ordered the 7 and 8. Colors for these sizes were limited so I got the Sea Blue. I also ordered Primas in 7 and 8 in Black. Crocs had the lowest price I could find for these styles and shipping was free to me. I will have to pay shipping to return the size that doesn't fit. I will let everyone know how the sizing turns out once they arrive.

Got my box from Crocs.com yesterday and wanted to give a sizing update. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered size 8 in Scutes, Prima and Nile and they all fit. The Scutes are very comfy. They have a more cusion-y foot bed. The Niles aren't as soft, but they are still comfy. The Prima is more narrow and fits a little more snug. They are comfortable, but create an air pocket between my arch and the shoe that makes a "gassy" noise when I walk. I am going to have to wear them on the carpet a few days to see if the noise goes away.

Thanks for the update. I am usually a size 8 or 8 1/2 . . . I think a 9 would swallow my foot. Hmm. I hope I can find a place around here to try them on first!

I usually wear an 8 or 8.5. I tried both the 8 and 9 on in the store and there was not much difference for the Scute. I bought the 8 (mostly because of the colour) and they are the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn.

I have found that they are not very true to size, for my feet. That's why I'm waiting to be able to try the scutes on. I wear a 7 1/2, sometimes 8. But in the beach crocs, I wear S, which is 6-7 women's.

Last week I got the Athens in a size 6!?. They have so much extra room.

I really, really want these and had dropped a billion hints to DH for my b-day which is TOMORROW - AND NO DELIVERIES FROM CROCS. He says he wouldn't know which size or color, etc. (even though this info was included in my hinting - I am nothing if not thorough) Anyways, looks as if I will be ordering them myself. I have had a hard time finding Scutes on websites and the local Dick's store that carries Crocs only have the Athens and a closed toe style. I usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2 (9 1/2 now while pregnant) so I went there to test sizes and in those two types, the 9 fit better. The 10 was huge. So I think I will go with the 9 when I order, and will likely order from the Crocs site itself.
