Crocs question

Crocs are BUTT-UGLY, but they are the most comfortable WDW shoe I've ever tried. My DD has 3 pairs (a Payless, a Croc flip-flop, and a Mickey pair), and I have 2 (a Croc and a Payless). I may have to replace the Crocs pair because I'm starting to wear them down a bit due to the hot pavement in WDW. I like the real Crocs better than the Payless, but DD doesn't feel there's a difference in hers.

I also had a slight problem with a spot rubbing the top of one of my feet, and moleskin does help quite a bit. It wasn't severe, just enough to be annoying. I caught it before it became painful, and after another day or so, I could wear them without the moleskin.

My one regret with the Crocs is that I never bought stock in the company!

I've seen quite a few people recommending to put crocs in the dryer briefly to mold them for those of us who wear half-sizes and can't find crocs that fit.

I was wondering if anyone has tried this with the airwalk version? I saw a type at payless that I really liked but the 7 was just barely too small and 8 was too big. I'd hate to waste the money if they don't stretch like crocs do.

Hi

I bought a pair of the Crocs Cayman's maybe 1 1/2 years ago. I didn't wear them very often since my husband kept laughing at them whenever I put them on. So once in a while I'd wear them and they were very comfy.

Last month, June 2007, Paul (my husband) and I were in Disney World. The first day we went to the parks we started at MGM probably around 10am and ended that day at 2am Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom - basically on our feet running around all day. We were both wearing our sneakers.

When we got back to the room, poor Paul had huge blisters on both of his feet. So the next morning, what did he do, he decided to try on my crocs. They were a little small for him, but felt much better than him trying to put his sneakers back on.

I did not get to wear my crocs all week at Disney since Paul wore them everyday. When we got home, one of the first things we did was go buy him his own pair. He wears them just about every day.

They are comfortable and some of the new styles are very cute

I have to agree that I didn't buy them for a long time due to them being ugly. Then I saw the Mickey ones and decided that they had Mickey how bad could they really be? I LOVE THEM! After reading everyone's stories about walking around the parks I decided to give them a shot. I wear them all the time and have bought a second pair of regular ones so I can put the Jibitz in them. I am simply hooked. I ordered 2 different color Mickey for my son and my sister has ordered some so we can all load up with Jibitz. One side note: I bought the same size in both pairs and the Mickey seem to be a tad bigger and more comfy but the Jibitz won't fit in the Mickey's and I must have Pirate Jibitz!!

Last summer I bought croc knock-offs for my dd's 8 & 10 and within an hour they had blisters. We wouldn't go near them again.

About a month ago, we saw crocs in a Hallmark store of all places! The 3 of us tried on a pair and loved them! We each got a pair and also a pair for dh.

I wore them almost every day on a trip to Quebec with 90 middle school kids, including a day at Paramount Studios amusement park in Montreal. Usually after this trip (we've gone 4 times) I come home with legs that look like elephants. Not this time - no swelling at all!

I wear them all the time now - even as slippers. I bought us all Disney crocs for our trip to the World next week , and yesterday bought a pair of cleos and mary janes for myself. My girls both want a pair of the high heels for school.

The only crocs I don't like are the flip flops. I can't wear any sandal with the strap between the toes - they make my big toe go numb. I don't want to buy the crocs like that, then not be able to wear them.

Now I just need to find crocs that will be appropriate for work (I'm a teacher).
