Crocs experts--sizing question

My son wants crocs and has never had them. We were in the store yesterday and he wanted orange. They had size 12/13 which were too small and the clerk said he needed the next size which was 1/3. I tried to find them online on their website and the sizes after 12/13 are junior sizes 1, 2, and 3. Then I went on ebay and there were some listed there in size junior 1/3. Who is right? Did crocs used to come in size 1/3 and now they resized them?

The Beach (most popular clog style croc) come in adult sizes xxs-xxl (I think). They are unisex, and represent sizes like Medium= something like 8/6 meaning a women's 8 and a men's 6. The Cayman (looks like a beach, but a little more narrow, comes in single sizes for kids after the 12/13. Believe in crocs.com! They have good info. there and have been great to order from.
