Okay, so I've read about Crocs for ages now. I hear how they are really good shoes for people who do a lot of walking (Disney), prevents blisters and are really comfortable.
I am a woman who is NOT a shoe person. I am not one of them that needs 15 different black pair of shoes to go with whatever type of outfit I am wearing, I don't own sandels, flip-flops, boots, ankle boots, heels, etc. I own ONE pair of sneakers and that is all she wrote.
During the summer months, I even wear socks/sneakers because I cannot stand the thought of wearing a shoe/sandel/sneaker without a sock. My feet sweat and to me, it's just plain gross LOL.
I've been to Disney 3 times so far and will be heading back in 46 days. Two of those times, I got blisters so bad it was scary. So that's how I got to reading about these Crocs (possibly the ugliest shoes on the face of this earth) Even so, I decide to shell out the $30 and see what the hype is all about......
OH.............MY....................GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just can't get enough of these babies. I originally wanted a pair of beach Crocs in the Pearl color (but they didn't have my size) so I just bought a pair of black. Then my MIL bought me a pair of light blue for Mothers Day and I just went out last night and bought a pair in Celery. I now want a pair in every color that will match my outfit!!!!
I can finally wear a summer shoe with no socks and my feet don't sweat!!!!!!
I'm hoping I can also get by doing Disney with no blisters (I can handle one or two but nothing like what I went through) But am I totally doomed now that I am addicted to these things? LOL Another thing, I also heard that applying body-glide to your feet will also cut down on the blisters. Can I still do this with Crocs? Has anyone had any luck using both the shoes and body glide?
Thanks!!!!

), be sure to take the socks off if it rains (or change them immediately after). I only got blisters with Crocs last summer one day -- the day it rained and I was wearing the socks. I am certain it was the rubbing of the wet sock on my foot. PLUS, your feet will dry faster. I am thinking of buying the Croc sandals for the next trip. They are actually not totally ugly.
According to the crocs site you should have space around the foot on all sides...all that should touch the shoe is the bottom of your foot. I wear a size 7-1/2 and I bought the M Beaches which are W 8-9, and they work perfectly. Not a hint of blister at all after 8 days of intense park walking. Have worn them for two 8 day trips now.
... I did try the 'glide' stuff at the park but it made them way too slippery.

.I need to wear more of an open sandle.
