Crocs ATHENS shoe size question

I want to buy the Athens Crocs to go with my other pairs but I am wondering if I should buy the stores recommended shoe size. Anyone have a pair of the Athens thong shoe?

I'm a size 10 and the size chart says to order a mens size 8. Unless I am in the mens section of the online store.

I believe the Athens are unisex. I have a women's size 9 but they are also a men's size 7. They fit true to size on me. They seem big only because the thong part doesn't really touch my foot like a normal flip flop would. In the Cayman's style I had to go up to a size 10 so I am not sure why there is a difference. They are very comfortable though.
