Ok, so I was on Badshoe.com this weekend. Lo and behold I see a family of three wearing crocs. LOL

As I write this I am wearing my new crocs that UPS has just dropped off. My 17 year old can not believe that her usually fashionable mom would even consider buying these shoes.

Are they really that comfortable for park use that I should risk ridicule from my family and quite possibly appear on some bad fashion sense web site?

Help, my feet are crying for help!

We're just back from WDW and I saw several families and individuals wearing crocs. I have to admit, when packing I chickened out and didn't pack my payless knock-offs, but today after work they were the first thing I grabbed for! Next time I am definitely bringing mine along.

I think Crocs rock! I wear mine everywhere...around the house, running errands, to work, hiking...everywhere! I think they are the most comfortable shoes ever! Take them!

I am just back from the world and I to saw Many people wearing crocs as well. And the funny thing to me were my girls pointing people out to me who they saw wearing them..
I to wore mine almost every other day and switched with tennishoes, with all the heat there this past week I swelled up like a balloon and the Crocs helped a ton....

I decided to send my crocs back to Zappos. The S was too big, the XS was too small.

On my way home yesterday I stopped at payless. They had them there on sale for 9.99. I picked up a pair size 6. They are a little big. I wore them all last night at home. I have too say my feet really felt good.

I would wear them to Disney. My only problem is that they do look really big on my feet.

I have the same problem with my airwalks...They look, and I guess really are really big on me. The next size down though was too short for my feet. Even though they are big, they don't fall off and are very comfortable! I will definately be taking them to WDW in June. Ordered some for dd too and waiting for them to be sent to the Payless store near here so she can try them on. Never thought about my feet swelling in the heat, but since we'll be there next month, I'll probably be glad to have the Airwalks with me! :)

They might look funny (i dont have a pair) but here on Long Island (NY) even the "hip" teen stores have them. Not only that but the bookstore on my college campus (University of Maryland) had them too.

So they definitely are popular :confused3

A very lightweight shoe that is immensly popular right now...you can see them at the crocs.com website...

OK...in our defense...at first look if you don't know what crocs are they look like gelly hard plastic shoes...which would be very uncomfortable to wear around the parks...

Those things are freakin' weird! No, I don't have them and I'm much too girly to wear shoes like that out (ok - ridicule me, please). I agree with Zurgswife (who is my idol for many reasons - lol) that they look like gellies! At least your children (and possibly their children) will have a good laugh at you all 20 years from now when they are looking at old home movies ... on some new-wave, holographic, ummmm ... video phone ... thingy.

"It's a great big beautiful tomorrow....shining at the end of every day" :rolleyes1

so if you put you're kiddos in them too - they can't laugh at just you (especially at the "old pictures" years from now) :teeth:

I really got a kick out of seeing the crocs on Badshoe. We love your web site. My husband has actually sent you pictures in the past of badshoes we have seen.

You guys have inspired us and our 2 children to be on the lookout for badshoes on our trips.

Thank you for your great site! :flower:

Hey, isn't that part of a parent's "job"? to royally embarass our children? :rotfl2:

My daughter saw these on my feet when she got home yesterday from college. Tried them on and now wants a pair of her own. Embarassed she is not.

I must agree that crocs are, as I am fond of saying, butt-ugly, but they are unbelievably comfortable. I am *definitely* taking them on our next trip to WDW in August. I bought my DD a pair of the Payless knock-offs, and thought she'd vote 'no way'. She loved them. Go figure! She's 11 going on 21, so I figured she'd think they were totally dorky. Seems that when it comes to her feet, she goes for comfort over fashion too! :flower:

Besides, I love that when I wear my crocs, they look to me like Minnie's shoes! Anything I can do to bring the trip closer, I'll do it! :earboy2:

I also love the Badshoe site! Keep it going!

Who has time to look at people's shoes while at WDW!?

I really don't care how ugly my shoes are. My feet better be comfortable while walking all those miles!!! In a pair of Crocs or not! Comfort, Comfort, Comfort!!!

I have the light blue airwalks and just received my navy blue Nile Crocs today that I ordered from the Crocs website. I ordered the dark brown Metros for my husband too. I think they both look pretty good and will be perfect for WDW. The Airwalks, at least, are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Great for when you have to be on your feet for any length of time.

I teach at a middle school. My students thought I was right uptown in my new crocs. My niece, who teaches at the same middle school, saw my crocs and said that I was being "uncharacteristically fasionable". I could care less about the "cool factor". I just like shoes that make my feet feel great.
