Crocs are on Badshoe

I don't know how to link the page. It's in the section where they have pictures sent in to them. It appears to be a family of three wearing them. I got a real kick out of seeing them.

I haven't yet ventured outside with my pink airwalks. I do however put them on as soon as I get home. They make my feet happy :) .

I have looked at them and we have had wonderful luck wearing our Earthshoe sandals from Walmart and had a couple of questions for you Croc wearers if you did not mind...

Do they make your feet sweat being plastic gel looking and do you get blisters from them??,,,thanks... :sunny:

My feet haven't gotten too bad...I have black one's so on Memorial day when I was grilling in the direct sun I got a bit sweaty..I just slipped them off for a moment and I was fine. I also wore them after getting out of the pool today. As I got to my car I noticed they were dry already, which really impressed me!

DH said they were ugly and I was nuts for buying them when I did about a month ago. Hmmm...who made me drive to Hallmark yesterday to try out a pair??? DH bought a blue pair and has lived in them for the past 24 hours!!!! He actually wanted YELLOW because he said he wanted something unique...they didn't have yellow at our store. What a nerd...first I'm the weirdo with the ugly shoes and now he wants them in yellow??? Go figure.

As for blisters...I'm usually a size 9 1/2. I bought the payless version in an 8 and after a month in them one of my big toes kept hitting the front so I got another pair in a 9. I never had a prob with the 8s...just nervous about my big toe at WDW. Now with the 9s, even though there is more room up front, I noticed that when I powerwalk and do a lot of it, it rubs on small part of the top of my left big toe. I just cut moleskin to remedy that. I have yet to find one pair of shoes that doesn't give me a blister or a hot spot after being in them an extended period of time in the heat. Crocs have been the best in terms of little to no blistering.

I have not seen a single pair of crocs on anyone around where I live. I saw them in the store and they are dreadful looking so maybe thats why I dont see anyone wearing them around here. IN WDW, you go for comfort so if Crocs are comfy go for it but they are definitely a fashion don't. :teeth:

I know, they are FUGLY, but I am now seeing whole magical gatherings sporting them! I think they're turning into the official WDW shoe! Hurds of families, with a whole rainbow of colors, were walking by me. I pointed them out to future DH, and he said, "Wow, you'll never see ME in a pair!" I think I may try them. With all the rain we've had at the parks, they would have been perfect. :umbrella:

Crocs are all the rage here in Colorado (maybe because this is where they originated?). People wear them everywhere. My dd has some, and thinks I need to get a pair so I can be MORE fashionable, lol. I just want them for the comfort. Besides, what other lightweight, casual, summer shoe will hide my chipped toenail polish?

They've grown on me. I still think they're ugly, but they're cute at the same time. Especially the bright, fun colors. I wouldn't buy black or beige.

I ordered a pair of Crocs from www.nofeargear.com, has anyne ordered from them, can anyone report on their service.
I'm waiting, though they said itd take a few weeks, its getting closer to Disney week and I want to break them in first!

I ordered mine on May 26, and no sign they have even shipped. We leave in 3 days. I am so mad. I thought for sure I had plenty of time to receive them. I've emailed, I've called and no one responds back. I ordered mine from thecrocstore.com.

Not happy at all right now

I just arrived home from a 6 day trip at WDW, and baby, you ain't a kiddin'!! :cool1: I counted between 30 - 35 pairs of CROCS during my visit, including the khaki pair of Beach CROCS on m own feet everyday we were there...except for the 6 hours I wore my $80 Nike's which gave me a blister.

:umbrella: Rain? Oh, yeah, baby!!! It rained everyday we were at the world except yesterday...and it probably rained after we left at 7pm. I wore my CROCS through 2 inch puddles with no problems...squishy toes for a couple of minutes then dry within 10...DH still isn't convinced to buy a pair, let alone wear them in the parks. BUT, DS is begging for a pair of his own after several days of wet icky socks and sneakers. :earboy2:

For those of you who really want to read some stories/testimonials for CROCS search the community board for "What Crocs Did for Me"...50 plus pages about this butt ugly, super comfy shoes.

OK...in our defense...at first look if you don't know what crocs are they look like gelly hard plastic shoes...which would be very uncomfortable to wear around the parks...

And here I was about to fire off an email to see if we could get Crocs a Galactic Pardon from the Evil Emperor himself. :rotfl: Quite Truly, they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I know that's not going to be true for every person and I know many people don't find them attractive. But....I walked for 5 days straight at WDW and never once had to sit down because my feet hurt. That is a near miracle for someone who has chronic foot problems. :teeth:

I LOVE my new Crocs! Only had them for about 4 days now, but can't stop wearing them! I bought a pair for my mom last night, she tried mine on and wanted some too. She has had foot problems for years, hoping they will help. Thanks again Disboards!

I emailed nofeargear a little over 3 weeks after my order, they just got a shipment in my went out the next day!
waiting......I hope they're good for me...I've read that some dont like the Niles, thats what I got!

I am now a Crocs girl! Spotted them in a shoe store after reading so much about them here on the boards. I have a very flat foot....my life is a constant search for a comfortable shoe. Tried them on in the store, yanked the tags off, paid for them, and wore them home. I wear them to work, gardening, shopping, etc. Can't wait to wear them to WDW!! My Mom is a nurse and she now wears them at the hospital. :jumping2:

Crocs.com emailed me and said there's a 3-5 week back log on all orders. I am bummed. No crocs for me for this trip. :sad2:

Have you tried your local Payless? They sell a knockoff version by Airwalk. Honestly, I think it's the exact same shoe. They are $15 and come in light blue, pink, and black. I own a pair and have tried on the Crocs and they look and feel exactly the same. Just a suggestion if you had your heart set on taking a pair on your trip. I will definitely be taking mine next month! :cool1:

We're just back from WDW and I saw several families and individuals wearing crocs. I have to admit, when packing I chickened out and didn't pack my payless knock-offs, but today after work they were the first thing I grabbed for! Next time I am definitely bringing mine along.

I have the payless knock-offs too and I love them ...does anyone have these as well as Crocs? Are they about the same?

I saw several people at WDW with those on last week, and good gracious they are just the ugliest things. But I am now the age that looks don't matter, comfort is all there is. So I am going out tonight to try and find a pair here locally. The crocs website says there are several locations in my area that carry them. I am going to go check them out.
