Crocs and Foot Problems

I am a runner and have PF my right arch. I got a pair of crocs for Xmas and I wear them like slippers at home and my PF has almost gone away completely !! Love my crocs and am not going to over analyze this.Running season is coming fast and I feel great.
this is what my DH does - he has PF, and his doctor advised him not to go barefoot, so he wears crocs around the house in the evening.

He's got walking/everyday tennis shoes (New Balance), running shoes (Brooks), his work boots (no idea what they are) and the crocs. LOL.

My feet would hurt so much, I didn't want to walk across the room, much less Paris or London! At that point, I really didn't care what they looked like, as long as my feet quit hurting. Now, I kinda like them - I own 6 pairs of Ecco's now, two Mobile's, one pair of boots, one dress shoe, and two pairs of sandals. So, pain or Ecco's? I'll take Ecco's!!!!! :cloud9:

I bought Crocs several years ago when they first came out. Mine was the first pair that my podiatrist saw and he liked them.

After I wore my Crocs for a very short time I developed achilles tendonitis in one heel. I did exercises and went through therapy but didn't do much good. They said it could last as long as 9 months. It ended up lasting almost two years.

I don't know that the Crocs caused it or if it was coincidence. I still wear them for very short periods but I had been wearing them continuously.
