Crockpot recipes please!

That’s for the family freezer link. I’ve gotten a few recipes from that for next week. So many cooking sites have so many ads and videos that it takes so much time to scroll to a recipe but this blog is user friendly.

Most of my crockpot recipes are now instatpot recipes, i cook things in 30-45 mins that take 8 hours in the crockpot :)
My kids favorite is bag of frozen chicken breast one bottle of bbq sauce. 8 hours or more on low or 30 mins in the instantpot. We make white rice and peas with it or chop up the chicken and make sandwiches

Great thread, let me throw you a curveball; How shopabout vegan recipes? Both of my HS kids have decided they are vegetarian/vegan - usually doesn't lend itself to Crockpot meals.
Shop sprouts, you can make any of these with plant based meat products. I am a personal shopper and i buy items all the time. ( not really sure how you call it meat, but they are plant based)

Amen! I too dislike websites covered in ads and banners. Understand why it’s done, just don’t like it.

I get frustrated with Crockpot Recipes though, because most say cook on High 4 hours or Low 8 hours.
I'm usually gone more than 8 hours during the day.... So I am looking for recipes that can hold up to more like 10-12 hours in the CP.
I'd love to hear if anyone has ideas for that! :)

A digital crockpot will turn itself to keep warm after 8 hours (or whatever you set it for). I have one that is digital and also has a probe so when the meat reaches the desired temp it turns itself to warm. Its a life (and food!) saver for me!

I'm interested as i have had my crockpots for 20 years now....can you possible share a link to the one you have?

Super easy and delicious - 4 frozen chicken breasts, 1 jar of salsa, and one can of crushed pineapple. Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 2-4 hours. We put it over rice or make burritos.

Here is an easy slow cooker recipe we eat with tortillas, chips or spread in corn tortillas & make enchiladas:
5 -frozen chicken breasts, 1 jar salsa, 1 can of each of the following (all rinsed & drained) :
Corn, black beans, kidney beans
Cook on low 6-8 hours . The last 20 minutes place a block of cream cheese on top , let it soften .Then we shred the chicken & give everything a stir.

Dumb question is the rice cooked in the meatballs? Recipe doesn’t say and I’d like to make them

The rice is regular uncooked rice. I use jasmine rice because that’s what I keep in my cupboard. I guess any white rice is fine, but not instant because it would cook too quickly.
