Shop sprouts, you can make any of these with plant based meat products. I am a personal shopper and i buy items all the time. ( not really sure how you call it meat, but they are plant based)Great thread, let me throw you a curveball; How shopabout vegan recipes? Both of my HS kids have decided they are vegetarian/vegan - usually doesn't lend itself to Crockpot meals.
It was delicious and everyone loved it. Will definitely be making this one again!Sounds delicious! Please let me know how it turns out.

Amen! I too dislike websites covered in ads and banners. Understand why it’s done, just don’t like it.That’s for the family freezer link. I’ve gotten a few recipes from that for next week. So many cooking sites have so many ads and videos that it takes so much time to scroll to a recipe but this blog is user friendly.
A few of my tried and true (and always requested by the ladies at work...)

I get frustrated with Crockpot Recipes though, because most say cook on High 4 hours or Low 8 hours.
I'm usually gone more than 8 hours during the day.... So I am looking for recipes that can hold up to more like 10-12 hours in the CP.
I'd love to hear if anyone has ideas for that!![]()
I'm interested as i have had my crockpots for 20 years now....can you possible share a link to the one you have?A digital crockpot will turn itself to keep warm after 8 hours (or whatever you set it for). I have one that is digital and also has a probe so when the meat reaches the desired temp it turns itself to warm. Its a life (and food!) saver for me!

Dumb question is the rice cooked in the meatballs? Recipe doesn’t say and I’d like to make themMy family loves porcupine meatballs. I use a casserole style (rectangle) crockpot so I only have one layer of meatballs.
