Crockett's Tavern

My family and I have always enjoyed going to Crockett's Tavern for pizza/snacks and a beverage (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Our last visit was in April 2001 and the place was still there ... since that time I have not seen it listed on the restaurant lists. Only that it is no longer a restaurant but that you can still order pizza there to eat both in or out.

What's the deal. Can you still go there for pizza and beer?

Technically speaking.........Crockett's Tavern is the bar area of 'The Trails End Buffet' (It's been that way from the very beginning of Fort Wilderness). But to answer your question, yes you can still get pizza to eat in or out, and enjoy a libation or two. My wife and I always enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch, and watch the kids play on the playscape outside.
