Have any of you all worn the Athens or Cretes to Disney? I bought the disney clogs for the boys to wear, but I got DH the Cretes and myself the Athens. I was just wondering if they would be comfortable to wear at Disney or not. I would of course pack tennis shoes too JIC.

I went back and forth between my Mickey Crocs & my Athens Crocs when we were at Disney in 07' and I had no problems. I was comfortable the whole time. I plan to do the same for our trip later this year.

Our last trip I wore my Athens the entire trip!! I never oput on my sneakers! I thought they were great! This trip I hope my cleos will do as good as a job!!:)

I have the Athens but have never worn them to WDW. I've worn them other places where I walk/am on my feet a lot and they seem to be hard on my knees and shins. I'm a little sore after wearing them for long periods of time.

I wore them a lot short-term wise this summer, in and out of the house, on short errands, etc.....and loved them. It was horrible to put on "real shoes" when I had to go back to teaching!

Not to WDW, but to DLR. But it's all so personal. The Athens worked beautifully for me, and actually gave me huge relief from what my nice New Balance shoes were doing to me. But for someone else, they might cause pain.

Bring options....

I'd personally test them out before you go. Sometimes shoes that we wear in our day to day lives seem comfortable - but you need to test them in an all day on your feet with plenty of walking environment.

Saying that I wear the beach crocs and they are the comfiest shoes for WDW. I've not put my sneakers on again since buying my crocs a few years ago!

Thanks everyone. I'm thinking we might give it a try on a day we do something as a family b4 we go. I've worn crocs (the regular ones) to work b4 when I worked on my feet for 8hrs and they were fine, but they werent the flip flop ones. I just got them because i wear flip flops everyday normally (Old Navy ones).

I wore the Athens the whole 7 days of our trip last year & we walked alot! We stay at FW cabins & don't rent a golf cart so we walk a mile just to get to a main bus or ferry. My feet felt great. I use to wear Old Navy flip flops but since wearing the Athens, I can't wear them, they hurt my feet.

I love my Athens and wear them a lot. I usually switch between sneaks and Athens through out the week on vaca

I own the clogs and the Athens, and they keep me as comfy as my sneakers - both offer me the same comfort

we all wore them, and my dad had a black pair, his shunk from the sun!

Oh my gosh, yes! Great point!!! I had a spare pair in the car, since we were on a long trip heading to Myrtle Beach after a week in Florida...they shrunk in the heat too!!! So much for the spare pair, and I learned my lesson

Yeah, it made us all laugh. He couldn't wear his the rest of the trip. so watch out if you're bringing them!

well, We all were heading out to a nice day at Typhoon Lagoon. My sister and I were relaxing in the Lazy river, our parents ashore relaxing on the beachside. My mom wore her running shoes that day and just took them off when we arrived. My sister and I wore our flip flops. and my father, wore his crocs.

We decided to go on some water slides and we all left our shoes under the bench we were sitting at. But, when we returned to get dry and back to the hotel. My dad couldn't even get his foot in the croc. Then noticing it had shrunk. It was quiet funny.

Oh man i should have ordered a larger size. We dont plan on going to a water park, but I sure hope they dont shrink while wearing them.

I just returned from my trip on the 28th. I brought my Athens crocs and they were very comfortable however by the end of the first day I got a huge blister in between my toes on my left foot. I'm not quite sure why. I had worn the Athens many times and am used to wearing flip flops often.

Yes, same experience here. I bought a pair of the Adara Crocs to wear this last trip when it rained so I wouldn't ruin my tennis shoes. I developed a blister on my pinky toes almost immediately...even though I had been wearing flipflops, sandals, and going barefoot all spring and had some tough feet.

I think it was a combination of moisture and increased walking in them, because I've worn them all summer since then, and have had no trouble...then again, I don't walk 6 miles a day at home in them, either. :)
