Another poster said they were told until Noon. The Disney World website has been giving error reports or maintenance reports for the last few days. Word is they are updating to include the 2008 rates.

I just called to make a payment and I was told it would probably be late tonight or early tomorrow morning before the site was up again.

I just tried to call (3:35 eastern) and was told their computers would probably be down for the rest of the day.

not the website, I just tried a few minutes ago. I have been trying off and on throughout the day. Maybe you just hit a brief spot where it did work. Or else, nothing matches at all for Oct 5-7.

I was able to call and book my room and KTTW tickets at the lower prices before tomorrow. I was told I still couldn't book a package though...

That would really stink if they were down all day and you couldn't get through till tomorrow with the higher prices.

tried all day to get the annual passes through the website no luck, so we phoned at about 4pm and got them over the phone.

They're probably uploading the '08 rates along with the raise in ticket prices. As soon as i saw that they were raising the prices this morning on the "DIS SITE UPDATES" at the top of the main page, i went to my nearest military base and purchased my 7 day park hoppers for $255.00. Raise away disney, raise away....

Just got off the phone with the most unhelpful CM at DTC. Basically you can by tickets, but if you want DD with them, you're hosed until tomorrow and the new prices take affect.

Sorry guys! I meant the phones were up and running not the website! Yes, I was also told that packaged could be booked today, after the new rates have been applied.

Raven63david- Our tickts and tours was closed yesterday. I'm hoping they still have some of the tickets available when I call on Monday. f they do, they will sell them at the lower rate untill they have to order a new batch of tickets. Keeping my fingers crossed. I miss being at a large base!

You can now book 2008 packages online or by telephone. The www.disneyworld.com home page gave me a few problems so I went over to the Tickets & Reservations page. I got a price quote immediately!

I have already booked a room only so I am going to wait until this afternoon to call and book the package.

My main concern was now much were the rooms and packages going to go up in 2008. I was given a 2007 price quote of a little over $4,400.00 (3 adults (in Disney's opinion), 8 day park tickets, dining plan, 10 day/9 night stay at Wilderness Lodge standard view room). The same package is for 2008 is $4,519.71. I am so relieved that the increase is just $100.00!
