So, I'm a rookie, but I think I've done OK with ADRs so far. Please let me know what you think... Me, DW 38, DS9, DD6. Staying at POR Sun-Wed then CBR Thu-Sat.

MK Sunday - CS somewhere > MMVCP
MK Monday - Breakfast in room > CHH > 1900PF
EP Tuesday - Akershus (Late Breakfast) >_______________
AK Wednesday - Breakfast in room > Tusker House (Late Lunch) > _______________ (Dinner anywhere, Maybe boat to DTD??)
HS Thursday - Breakfast in room > ______________ > Mama Melrose
TBD Friday - Breakfast in room > BOG (1:50PM) > Coral Reef (Last night in WDW)
TBD Saturday - Chef Mickey's > BOG > MCO :(

So, can you help me fill in the gaps or offer advice to steer me clear of disappointment/challenges?

Thanks so much for everyone on this board. You guys rule!

have you been to disney before? i only ask because everyone is different and for my family we dont really do breakfast in the room we wont be able to eat all that food all day. maybe like a small cereal bar but nothing large. for MK i think for your CS i would suggest Pinnochio village haus, you can watch the boats from IASM go by and eat great flat breads and salads and sandwhiches. what are you doing for dinner during the MVMCP? the CS? i was just confused.

CHH is great, never been to 1900PF but heard great things about it, let me know how it is =) i would rather ohanas but that is my personal preference.

Never been to akershus but heard its GREAT! for dinner i would suggest san angel inn, rose and crown or teppan edo. depending on what you are in the mood for lol we like eating on the water at rose and crown around 730 and watch illuminations while eating dinner =)

tusker house is great! ? since you are staying at POR (we do FQ) i would suggest to do what we do and go to DTD like you said, we are trying t rex this year but we also LOVE house of blues and rainforest.

at HS i would suggest starring rolls or studio backlot express for CS lunch, both are great!!! and i love mama melrose is it the fantasmic package? if not i might suggest 50s prime time or sifi, the atmosphere is just slightly cooler but mama melrose is super cool too and not a bad choice.

BOG is great good choice, and i love coral reef!!

chef mickeys is always a goof choice, i would suggest trying something else besides BOG since you already did that. is that for a CS or TS?? if you need a CS i would suggest going to DTD and trying wolfgang pucks is probably my FAVORITE CS on property. then you can grab last minute things at DTD and take the boat back to the resort and wait for magical express!!!

1900 Park Fare is so hard to get and it is so fun. We could not get it at all for either breakfast or dinner last November. I would prefer that over whatever CHH is.

CHH = Columbia Harbor House. Probably among the better QS in MK.

OP, I think your selections are good. For Epcot day, my two favorite TS locations are Biergarten in Germany and Via Napoli in Italy. If you're paying OOP, you can get out of Via Napoli relatively cheap. Excellent pizza.

For AK day, we actually prefer Tusker breakfast over lunch. I would switch that to a pre-park opening breakfast which will also put you at a good place for being among the first on the safari. If you need lunch later, we love Flame Tree BBQ at AK. If you do dinner at DTD, Raglan Road is our favorite TS and Wolfgang Puck Express is our favorite QS.

DHS day I would highly recommend doing TS lunch because the QS options aren't great. Move Mama Melrose to lunch maybe. I will say we actually prefer 50s PT and Sci Fi Dine In over Mama Melrose - both have a more unique theme.

I would pick a World Showcase restaurant over Coral Reef in Epcot. I also wouldn't park hop just for a meal - I'm assuming you're splitting the day between Epcot and MK though. I also wouldn't do BOG (or any restaurant) twice in one trip, especially for the same meal. There's way too many others to try. Lots of good QS options at Epcot as well.

Only other restaurant we love which is ideal for either an Epcot or DHS break is Beaches & Cream at YC/BC.

Ha! Thank you, nkereina, I love sitting upstairs and having the Tuna Sandwich, mmmmmm

For TS we normally plug in Rose and Crown in England at EP and Ohana at Polynesian. They are two of our favorites and normally eat there with our without the FD.

Another vote for Rose & Crown here! The Bangers and Mash and Fish and Chips were both amazing! Some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had and we had a hilarious waiter - really great service.

It sounds good! However, Coral Reef isn't my favorite restaurant, but that's just me. The atmosphere was nice, but the food didn't wow me. I prefer Biergarten or Le Cellier. I just want to add that if you end up not going to DTD, Boatwright's at POR is very good. My daughter had a pork chop (adult size) that was delicious and my shrimp and grits were very tasty! Have fun!

Are you doing the dining plan?
If not, Via Napoli at Epcot and Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney are two of out favorites and relatively inexpensive. The boat to DD from Port Orleans is awesome!

I agree that you can get out of Via Napoli pretty well off. I mean the pizza is a little pricey, but for being at the world it isn't too bad and it is excellent pizza.
