I was upset about losing JJ because I feel that she is part of the family. There is a connection between her and Hotch that is vital, between her and Garcia that is joyful and she seems to have some special connection to each member of the team.

She certainly did (and does). Remember the episode very early in the series, when it was Reid's birthday? At the end on the plane, Gideon hands him two Redskins tickets, and then tells him to ask the Redskins fan to go with him, "the only person who calls you Spencer." Loved that - it showed so much about the three of them, and I'm sure helped in Reid's growing up.

I remember that! He was so cute with her, and she was so sweet and gentle with him. That's why I think her character is so important. I was FURIOUS with CBS when they simply wrote her off, and even angrier when I found out that even the cast felt it was arbitrary. She's back now and all is forgiven, until CBS does something else stupid.

The shot at 3am was an overnight shoot. I couldn't handle the overnight thing. I like to sleep at night because I'm just silly like that.

The hair and make up crew will answer most of your questions about both the actors/actresses get up and any questions pertaining to your own hair and make up. I, personally, enjoyed one of the make up ladies mini vacations with Rachel. They seem like they'd be a fun crew to hang out with.

Actress, Jayne Atkinson is with showrunner (exec producer who has final say of how the show is run,) Erica Messer. Hmmm. . . The two head gals of CM are very chummy. . . This could be very dangerous for the team!

Erica said a while back that we would definitely be seeing Strauss a lot more this season.

If anyone wants to pre-order the Criminal Minds Season 6 box set(it comes out Sept 6), it's available on amazon for $38.99. The list price is $64.00. They had it for like $26.00 a couple weeks ago so I wish I had ordered it then, but I got an amazon gift card from my aunt and uncle for graduation so guess what I just used most of it on?

Oh, wait, they might not be working on episode 2 yet. Joe Mantegna mentioned on his Twitter, an Episode 2 of something. I thought that was the name of the CM second episode. But, he was talking about spoof video series he's been filming for the Internet.

Actually Hotch, Morgan & the rest of the cast are wearing the same clothes as the first shot we got of them, last week for the first episode. That's how I figured it's the same episode.

Joe M. (Rossi's) Twitter said they are shooting interiors this week. So, either they just got back from rescuing Prentiss, or they are getting ready to go off to the case.

Maybe Hotch had to take some time off to deal with everything? Or he was working undercover? Do FBI work undercover? I thought only the CIA does that.

Scully and Mulder were FBI and I don't think they ever worked undercover. Then again if they did, would they tell? That'd blow their cover.

They are now definitely filming episode 2. Confirmed by Joe M. (Rossi.) He also said they take 8 days to film an episode.


Hotch is now beardless and back to his usual FBI suit.
That's quite a toned down Garcia, especially no funky shoes!

Maybe the wardrobe budget got a raise, too!

I'm thinking Strauss has been around messing with them, making them dress up for work.

Or Hotch is still having his mid-life crisis and Morgan has stepped up to be the temporary Unit Chief again. I think that's how he figured out Prentiss was still alive. He was poking around in files he normally wouldn't be in.


From the looks of this pic, TG may be having a mid-life crisis in real life. He's wearing one of those old grandpa cardigans at the Evian Masters golf tournament.

That is true, but sadly it's nothing new for CBS. AJ Cook (JJ) and Paget Brewster (Prentiss) both found out the same way
