7 weeks until graduation :worship:

:woohoo: Lots going on for you in the next few months! Turning 18, graduating, going to college in Aug. :yay:

Your poor Mom & Dad! They probably are thinking, "When did she get out of diapers?" :confused3 :rotfl:

Interview with AJ Cook on her return to CM:

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Cook-Criminal-Minds-1032245.aspx

I feel like CBS definitely tossed her around a lot. They basically told her she was an replaceable character and then brought her back for one show and she had to leave all over again. And then they're like "Okay we changed our minds, we want you back!" But I'm glad she's happy to be back :goodvibes

Hmm, the article says:

The finale will set up the new JJ.

I have been wondering if the "New J.J." has also been taking the profiler classes while she was away. Hotch had talked about it with her on the plane in a past season. She didn't want to be a profiler back then. But with one profiler gone, and the way she was affected by Prentiss leaving, and her part in it, I wonder, if she wants a bigger role on the team now.

(It would also be a way for the writers/producers to be able to get rid of faux J.J.) The team doesn't need a probie profiler, when they will have J.J. who worked with them before and knows full well how they operate. She would be able to have a bigger role next season. :scratchin

It would also be a way for the writers/producers to be able to keep the faux JJ - the real one becomes a profiler, and the faux one stays as the press handler.

I think JJ will still be the liaison, but now she'll do some profiling too. Seaver's never been the press handler. Garcia tried, but that role has pretty much been empty since JJ left.

Actually, Hotch stepped up. There was that one episode where he went on cameras before the press to lure the unsub out or something. J.J. was the one who used to do those interviews.

Tonight is a REPEAT.
It is the Farewell J.J. episode where she leaves.

Only now we know she's coming back! :woohoo::worship:

Please refresh my memory, who is T.G.?

Thomas Gibson.

Thanks! I think of them as their screen names so I get a brain freeze when someone uses their real names. Except for Morgan......

That's true, but I meant no one actually filled the position officially. JJ's not replaceable and CBS finally realized it :)

This is the last Wednesday night repeat of the season! Last three episodes the next three weeks! Which means after tonight's episode there should be a preview for next week popcorn::

Their last day for work for the season was on Monday. :sad1:

:sad1:

Re-watching that episode made me miss JJ even more. But she's back! :dance3:

Garcia had said it perfectly:

"We're a family. Don't they understand the reason this all works is because we are a family." :grouphug:

Someone should replay that as Shemar & Thomas re-negotiate their contracts.

If we get both of them and Paget back, I'll even accept stupid Seaver being around - in the background. :p

BTW, one of the producers said the season finale IS going to be a cliffhanger. :scared1: popcorn::

I don't know any more than that as I didn't want to read a spoiler about it. I'll just wait with everyone else.

I'm glad next week isn't a repeat. I sat here tonight with the TV off. At least next week there'll be one show on I'm interested in.

I tried watching a rerun on A&E but I saw it not too long ago. I'm funny that way. If I've seen it recently then I don't care to watch it again for a while.

It'll be nice for the actors to have time off to be with family, holiday or work on other projects during hiatus. But still, how long until they get to working on next season?

Belle, I just PMed you something you might be interested in looking at. :)

I agree about A&E. What's worse is, I'll flip to ION, and they will have the same episode A&E just showed a couple days before. Also visa versa. :headache: There are 123 shows in the first 5 seasons. They can't figure out a way to show DIFFERENT episodes than the ones their competition just showed? :confused3 What do they do? Walk across the street to hand over the tape that they just showed? Is there only one copy of tapes between the two networks? :confused3

As for when they will be coming back to film, I think it will be near the end of August. No new Twitter pics till then. :( This is going to be a visually dull, dry summer without our usual eye candy pics. :sad1:

 There have been a lot of intense episodes this season! Even though it's the end of the season I'm excited for the finale popcorn::

And I'm excited about seeing Jack next week :lovestruc

This isn't a spoiler, just the little tv.com description for the finale "As the BAU searches for a suspected human trafficking ring, Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner intimates there could be changes within the team due to budget cuts as Jennifer "JJ" Jareau returns to the FBI."

Budget cuts?

Hmmm...who should be the first to go in the event of a budget cut? :rolleyes1

I also just found this article about a case in New Hampshire similar to an episode of SB...

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2011...mom-is-similar-to-TV-show/UPI-78661303878656/

CONWAY, N.H., April 27 (UPI) -- New Hampshire police have been told the disappearance of Krista Dittmeyer, whose car was found with her baby still inside, is similar to a recent TV show.

A Conway, N.H., police lieutenant said a number of people have pointed out that an episode of "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" had mothers abducted but babies left unharmed, WHDH-TV, Boston, reported Wednesday.

MORE changes? They screwed up LAST season, due to REAL budget cuts. :headache: i don't quite trust their judgement anymore. :( I hope this isn't the writers trying to tell us we may lose Morgan or Hotch.

Since they already alluded that Hotch might be filling in for Strauss, that leaves Morgan.

Do probies even get paid? :confused3

I think they're doing it as an escape route if they can't re-sign Shemar. Hotch already has his escape route. But I really don't think they're stupid enough to not re-sign them after what happened last time, but they need a reason just in case.

But it's completely un-realistic that if there was a budget cut, Morgan would be the first one gone. Seaver would be first, just because of her position. Morgan and Hotch would probably be last, along with Rossi.

If everything goes well, they'll get TG and Shemar back and Seaver will be the one let go. But that still doesn't make sense because they'd be re-hiring JJ, who I'm sure makes more than Seaver

It would be easier & quicker if the unsub just shoots Seaver.

When Hotch has to explain to Strauss what happened, all he has to say is, "Well, she was stupid. :confused3 She walked in front of a bullet while trying to avoid some blood." :p
