Satine, Shemar Moore, in a real life, was in a car accident a while back. He was riding his bicycle uphill and a car sideswiped him and carried him (luckily) uphill. He has said on Ellen, that if he had been riding downhill, he probably wouldn't be here, now.

I don't recall them ever explaining Morgan's injury.

I know Prentiss is only going to be in 17 episodes this season and then she's done. Assuming that it's 17 in a row(it would be really bad TV if she just randomly disappeared every other episode for the rest of the season), after tonight she'll only be in 7 more episodes



My mom just made me laugh so hard. When they showed the scorpion crawling around at the beginning of the episode she goes "I don't think he's the unsub"

I thought, how is the unsub going to train a scorpion which house & which victim to get?

Paget Brewster has been asked to return to a status of a full-fledged regular on the show but will weigh pilot offers. Following the cast upheaval on the veteran CBS crime drama over the summer, Brewster was offered to return to the show this season as a regular but in reduced capacity, appearing in about 17 of the series' 22 episodes. As part of the new deal she signed, Brewster was given a "pilot out," meaning she could do a pilot for a new series while on Minds this season. Brewster has appeared in all 9 episodes of the CBS drama that have aired so far, and the network recently proposed a return to the original agreement. Brewster opted to adhere to her amended contract and take advantage of the option that allows her to do a pilot.

What little I know about filming TV pilots is that the actor is under contract, that if the pilot does well and the show gets picked up, that actor usually will do the same character, too. So, if a good new series comes along, it's "Goodbye Prentice."

Can't say I blame Paget, after her seeing, firsthand, how A.J. got the boot without warning. These producers don't seem to have much loyalty to it's female actresses.

I could have done without the "my dad killed my puppy" story. I currently own 5 dogs and am getting another foster greyhound this weekend from a track in Florida. That's 6 dogs in my house, I love dogs. Being in rescue I hear enough real life horror stories.

I really hate how the new girl looks so much like JJ and is very sympathetic and cares so much about the victims. Way too similar to JJ. If they would bring on a new character who wasn't a carbon copy of an old one, maybe it wouldn't bother me as much.

I don't like her. She's a hot mess.

She's got an abundance of problems to work through. First, she asks Reid about details about her father.

Then she asks Prentice about more stuff. She spent the whole time at the town meeting lost in her own head, than looking around.

Last, she's getting help from Rossi. She's a friggin VICTIM still.

Last season, we went through all that personal stuff with Hotch. (At least we like Hotch.) Are we expected to sit through another season of dealing with a team member's personal stuff?

Tonight was the first time I thought I probably won't be watching this show much if it becomes about this new girl's problems. I've got 5 seasons of repeats I can watch.

I don't like her either. I just started watching CM last year so I've never had to get used to a new cast member in new episodes. I saw the first few seasons out of order so I got used to everyone at the same time. The only character I didn't really like was Elle. She just bugged me. I saw more episodes with Gideon than Rossi when I first started watching, so I liked Gideon more, but now I'm attached to Rossi. But I don't like this new girl at all. Honestly, I know people were complaining about them getting rid of female cast members, but I'd be happier if it was just the guys and Garcia, rather than bringing in new females.

I feel the puppy story was all a manipulation to get out sympathy. Feel sorry for her, and let her on the team.

Probably Hotch gets into trouble for letting this gal consult, then he has to shoot the serial killer because she was running around loose on her own. So, once again, he doesn't have control of his team.

It kind of looked like Morgan was in charge again, (when Hotch had to temporarily step down,) and Strauss was reaming him out.

I'm going to look for an email link to write to the producers and ask them: What the heck are you thinking????

I hope CM hasn't jumped the shark. If this is an example of the decisions they are making for the show, no wonder Paget is keeping her Pilot option open.

I read the way the spinoff was going, it wasn't well received by the network. They had to fire the exec producer and replace him with the one from this show. Maybe he's spread too thin now, and BOTH series will fail.

Yes, she bugged me too. I wasn't watching the show that much when she was on. I was glad when she was gone. Then the show got really good, now they are changing things gain. Only we LIKED J.J.

I just don't buy that she would be BAU material at this point. I don't see where she contributed anything that helped the case. And like Imzadi mentioned, she's still feeling very much a victim, that's a liability to the group.

Yes, Elle was the one that went wacko and killed some guy then lied about it being self defense. Then she quit the team. I certainly wasn't upset to see her go.

Hotch put Prentice through the mill when she first wanted to join. He said the BAU was an elite unit. Everyone wants to get into the unit, but not everyone is qualified. Prentice had to prove herself.

But now, they are going to let a cadet, still in training, join?

Don't care too much for the new girl but there could be some interesting stories to tell with her background. I didn't like Paget too much either in the beginning but she grew on me. I didn't like Rossi either when he replaced Gideon but now I do.

I think this is the last NEW episode of Criminal Minds, for this year. Next week is a rerun on Christmas eve. And I *think* the week in between Xmas & NYE is usually a rerun, too.

A&E is having an all day marathon of CM on Christmas eve. What a day to be showing CM! I guess for A&E, there's no good will toward all men when there are serial killers running around.
