Didn't they cancel CSI: Miami? Plus, they're in Dallas and not Miami

Maybe they're looking at adding her as a cast member? And this is her test?

No, it took some time to figure out. I don't think it was obvious that the guy who was helping her escape was associated to the two woman who got shot.

I think someone kicked the writers' butts this season, as last season started off kind of mediocre.
