Cricut Expression Vs Silhouette Cameo

Hi all! I've been looking into getting a cutting machine and I can't decide between the Cricut and the Cameo. I have never used either one but just looking online it seems like the Cameo has gotten better reviews. Thoughts?

If I was just starting out I would get the cameo. Being tied to cartridges makes the cricut more expensive in the long run and limited selection of cuts. With a program like Make the Cut or Sure Cuts a Lot on the cameo, your possibilities are endless.

I second the Cameo. I have a Cricut and rarely use cartridges. I was lucky enough to purchase Sure Cuts Alot when I still could and it's mostly what I use. Since that's no longer an option if I were buying a machine now I would get the Cameo.
