Does anyone who has stayed recently know what type of cribs the BWPPI has? Is it a pack n play or a portable crib with rails?

Try calling or emailing the hotel directly to get the most up-to-date info on this. When it comes to infant gear, accurate info counts!

Thanks. I did end up calling. They are cribs with rails. Now I'm trying to decide if I should take the mesh bumper off our crib to make it feel more like home. I'm sure it would fit on a smaller crib since it can be adjusted.

I'm glad you got the answer to your question and think your idea about the bumper from home is a good one. We used to do something like that with a comforter and pillow from home to make hotel cribs and beds feel and smell more familiar. It really helped oldest sleep better when we were away from home.

Researching this for our current trip. Did you have your trip yet? If so, did you happen to take any pictures of the crib?

Unfortulately I didn't take any pictures. It was a basic, white metal roll away crib. It was slightly larger than a pack n play with a thin mattress. It looked similar to this.

Great! Thanks! That’s what I was afraid of. Don’t think my DS would sleep well on that. I’m considering using one of the places that rents them.

It didn't seem very comfy and I questioned how safe it was. I didn't care for the gaps in the corners. When my 6 month old was in it, he slept ok, but he spent the majority of the night in my bed then because he still didn't sleep well on his own

Yeah that’s exactly what I worry about is the safety. It doesn’t look like much. Mine also won’t sleep in a pack & play. I’m going to look into the rental places.
