I'm just a little creeped-out, and wanted to put my thoughts into writing, so here goes:
I have a FB friend, who I've known for about 25 years. A male, married, a few kids, seemingly wonderful life. We worked together when we were in our early 20's, remained friends, and have periodically kept in touch over the years. When FB came along, he sent me a friend request. He occasionally sends me pics of his kids, family stuff, etc. Nice, sweet stuff.
So, this morning I opened up my FB page, and I see that I have a message. I opened it up, and it's from my friend. And it is FILTHY. This message is immedately followed by another message, from him, saying that he sent the message to me in error, he's so sorry, etc etc etc. Then he said it was supposed to go to a "nurse friend" he has on FB, and he must've typed my name in by accident. He is obviously scared to death, realizing he sent it to me instead of this other woman.
In all the years I've known this guy, he never seemed like the type to send a dirty message to a woman. I have no clue who this "nurse friend" is, or if she's married, or if they're having an affair.
But I have a serious case of the willies now
Time to stay away from FB, I think. But I'm mostly really disappointed in my friend. It just goes to show...you never REALLY know people.
