Credits different in pirates; FIXED!

Ok, battle game is messed up. I have played a few of them this morning. I got a ship from another player, first I hit several times and then sank and ended up with only 11 points. This has been the same in several games.

Anybody play flag yet?

Flag gives more than battle is giving today, but you don't get the points you usually get if you shoot a ship. Just points for getting the flag.

I hope this is a mistake! It's not worth the time to play battle today for the credits I got.

Hopefully this is just a bug. Perhaps staff were testing new prizes in the chests and changed the credits but forgot to put them back.

I played flag for a couple of games this morning and I think it has changed. My partner and I played it like Battle to test and we just shot the other team. We lost both rounds because the message said that the other team had collected more gold. Their gold was Zero, ours was Zero.

I think maybe you can only win flag for sure now if you actually grab that flag.

If I was to place a bet: the Crew are in the act of changing up the credits. Remember: Yavn said that the Fun Days are coming back.

My guess is, this is only a temporary deal: the credits will come back, and be doubled, just for this month.

Not sure you will get the chance....if this is not a bug and it is the way of the future not sure how much I will be playing from now on.

That is alot coming from a die hard addict like me, totally disillusioned with VMK right now.

I played the pirates game this morning and it gives out very little credits now! you dont get credits for each hit anymore just the 7 for sinking the other ship

Sure hope it's a bug. I am thinking.... maybe they meant to RAISE it and lowered it instead... let's hope VMK closes for enhancements soon and we come back to find bazillion credits for shooting each other.

Hmm, you don't think they are trying the old retail store trick. You know, double the price for a few days, then put it on sale for 50% off? Except in this case, drop the credits for a few days, then have a fun day where the credits are "double".

I'm not sure about you all, but I am getting massive credits with these new rules playing capture.

My strategy? Use the Black Pearl. Show some fancy moves to grab the flag and run Forest run. Rarely do I even need to fire my cannons. I've made at least 3 grand this morning.

The new "rules" make capture much more of a strategy game than just sitting back and blasting away.

I figured out the evil plan. Use up all your credits during the Ride-a-thon last weekend, and then when you go to earn them back, take away the earning power of the easiest game (for me) to get credits from. This way, when they release the new pirate outifts, no one will have money to buy them, thereby keeping them rare. LOL. Phew. I really hope this is just a horrible bug.

Uh oh, I haven't got a chance to play today but I'm not as good at Capture the Flag as I am at ship battles. Looks like I'll be visiting the fireworks game a lot for awhile.

Actually you are completely wrong. Sorry. This is not meant as an attack on you or just to argue but with over 6,ooo wins under my belt I think I know from whist I speak.

Most players just had no idea how to play capture in the first place. Grab and run the flag to port is not the way it should be played and actually a PRETTY boring game after a few wins.

True Strategy Capture is indeed a fun and exciting game and I am happy that I learned it from a couple of the best capture players in VMK. In it everyone gets credits for playing because you want your opponent to win at least one round.

I think you outed yourself

while I admit plundering the other team would be fun and profitable for a short while, it will soon get old and only if fun if you are on the winning team.

By the way I played you this morning and crashed during the game
