Credit Decision

Sorry the financing didn't quite go the way you intended it to go! :sad1: I doubt you'll be able to secure any freebies from The-Powers-That-Be, but it never hurts to try.

Still, though, I'm glad that you're joining the ranks of the "certifiable"! :teeth:

Welcome Home!!

Brandi, in your situation I don't think it has as much to do with your credit score as it does with the length of time you filed BK. BK can stay on your credit record and effect credit for 7 - 10 years (my sister works for a BK attorney), but I'm sure you already know this. I am guessing you took the $10 per point incentive, so actually the total down payment will be 40%. Congratulations though on getting your credit score up and the possible new promotion! I agree that they probably won't "give" you any incentives for financing. So, let me say "WELCOME HOME" and "WELCOME TO THE DVC FAMILY" Even though it didn't work out quite as you wanted it to in 5 years you will have paid it off, and that will be a great feeling! :wave2:

oppsss....made a posting error, but I wanted to say congrats on your membership!!

We were in the same financial boat. We went through a pre-approval process offering 20% down and pay-out over 3 years. They came back and said we needed to put down 30% and we could pay over 5 years. We were all done in three days time, talking with our guide daily.
