Credit card split

We have four adults in a one bedroom at AKL with three different credit cards. In the past, I had to go to the front desk to have my magic band linked to my credit card to make sure the charges split correctly. Does anyone know if this is still true or have they fixed that with all the changes?

I've split cards on several trips. You do have to go to the front desk, but it's easy.

You need to go to the front desk to set it up and you should return a day or so later to ensure the charges are being split appropriately.

We did it February but had to go to the desk twice to adjust charges because it kept linking the wrong person to the card.

Did 2 cards in December and had to go back to straighten out also. Staying in a Villa, all charges went to me (DVC member) instead of split.

We just did this exact thing (4 adults, 3 credit cards) in March at Kidani. It was no problem to do at the front desk and all the charges came through properly.
